Just now watching the ACC championship game. This play just shows this kid’s hoops IQ. Has NOTHING to do with his physical build or athleticism. It’s plays like this that make me think his game will transfer over to the pros. He’s not just out there dunking on people. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/video/zion-williamsons-otherworldly-dime-to-tre-jones/vi-BBURGjv
Haha how am I salty because I think hes overhyped? He throws a pass Morant does routinely and you have media sources freaking out and calling it "otherwordly". Duke is the Lakers, and the Zion hype reminds me of LeBron in LA. Its ridiculous.
Except the Lakers aren't in the playoffs and Duke is a #1 seed. Duke also showed how good Zion is when they struggled pretty bad without him.
Im not sure about Zion, Phenomenal athlete, like Lebron Esque and I hope he does well. I do have my reservations though, beyond shooting, he’s huge will he be quick enough to guard wings or guards in the NBA? Will he mostly be an interior player? Does he play point forward a bit Ben Simmons esque? I feel like with Morant its easier to picture what he’ll translate to at the next level, doesnt mean that Morant will succeed and Zion wont. I hope they’re both successful, unless they’re on the lakers then I hope they lose a lot heh.
It's simple. You just had to throw shade when someone gave him props. That's salty. Calling his hype ridiculous just shows how salty you are about it.
He's clearly the number one pick. He's stronger and more athletic than 90% of the NBA. @BonesJones should realize that they're showing replays of his passes because his dunking has been shown the most.
He's definitely an incredible athlete. No denying that. If I had the #1 pick I'd probably take Morant (especially if I was a team desperate for a PG), but I absolutely understand the people who think I'm crazy for saying that. Zion is a generational type athlete if / when he couples that with the basketball skills he has a chance to be ridiculous. I hope they both do well, Morants, not a generational athlete like Zion but every time I watch him play I'm really impressed at how natural basketball seems to be for him. Zion certainly has the higher ceiling though.
I like Zion a lot and hope he does well in not only the tourney, but in the league as well (not with the Lakers of course). HOWEVER, is a Zion Cam really necessary?
