It's strange because I want him to succeed, but I am also really skeptical of a few things not only health but his basketball abilities. I have to avoid sounding like "I hope he fails so I'm right".
I'm what people would call a Zion hater because I said I think he'll be like a 15 and 9 type guy, never a top-10 to 15 player. I want to be right because of what he shows on the court, definitely not because of injuries.
This is actually a theory that makes a lot of sense to me, and I’m not sure it shouldn’t be more of a focus with basketball players.
Hard to defy physics. I do agree that he should think about how he jumps and lands if he wants a career.
I hope the best for him. But I have a suspicion that his career will mirror Antonio Mcdyess or Amare.
I just meant a career ended early because of injuries. And Amare didn't have 13 good years. More like 8.5-9.
See, I would say someone like Roy had a career that ended early because of injuries. I don't think can say that about anyone who played in the league for 13 years.
So sad to see. One would hope it was minor, but with the way he moves he needs all the meniscus he can get. I'm feeling Roy and Oden pains for the Pels right now.
