Mo has single handedly won some games for us, but I seem to remember many more he lost.

He's the player you think you will miss until you actually see him gone. Then you see just how much of a liability he was on the court. Much like hickson.

Mo was too bipolar on the court for my liking. I don't have the patience to ride his high's and low's. I'd much rather have a steady team player like Blake. Frankly, Mo was my least favorite player. Same with Crawford. Shoot first chucker's are a dime a dozen.

I would have much rather gave Mo the 3 years he wanted and said fuck you to Steve Blake

LOL Since when are fans 'upset' he signed with Minny? That's the first I've heard of it. Earth to Mo: No one really cares or feels betrayed by you. Enjoy your imaginary world, though. And your millions.

I don't think it was necessarily a choice between Mo for more money and years, and Blake for less of each. I think McCollum is expected to take over for Mo, and although inexperienced, will play better defense and be more willing to run the regular offense and pass the ball to teammates. Blanky is more an upgrade to Earl Watson.

I'm not saying McCollum will play ahead of Blake while Blake takes Watson's seat on the bench, just that Blanky is an actually useful Watson, and CJ is a better defending, more team oriented Mo.

    Blanky >> Watson
    CJ > Mo

    Hello darkness, my old friend
He's talking about on Twitter. But there are people blasting him on this forum, calling him selfish. It's not really imaginary. Fan bases have abandonment issues when players leave their teams for more money, even if they claim they didn't want the player anyway. ;)

Obviously people do on twitter or he wouldn't have addressed it. I (and most here) aren't one of them however.

Jay Mohr loves to slam Boston fans for that. "Johnny Damon went to the Yankees? He was a bum!" But yeah, all fan bases do it. Hell, I doubt as many Blazer fans would denigrate Clyde's practice habits if he'd never been a Rocket.

I as well could not care. The delight I take in the situation, is the fact that once again, the Twolves are gobbling up our sloppy seconds..how many X Blazer players have the signed? hahahahaha

It's time for either CJ McCollum or Will Barton to step up their games. McCollum, especially, since he was drafted to be a bench player who can create offense on his own if needed.

I have followed 3 NBA teams since 1971 as I moved around. It has always been obvious that Blazer fans have a deep need to hate all former Blazers, while overrating current Blazers.

Sonic posters were the opposite. They longed for all their former players, wondering how they were doing and whether they could get them back, while crapping on their current players.

So I knew the local haters would look for excuses to jump on Mo. Ergo, this thread.

I cheered clyde on when he went to Houston. I did the same for Sheed. I gave two shits about other players.

I don't think anyone is jumping on or hating Mo, we're just laughing that he has to go play in Minni.

Their hate is only short term though as most of the people on here seemed to be clamoring for ex blazers to return from McRoberts, to Blake, to O'neal. Basically they would not mind seeing any former Blazer scrub return provided it is not Felton. Give it a few months and they will be wanting Mo back.

No. I doubt it. There will be the kneejerk reaction when Blake has a bad game (Both from the "See, Mo was better" camp and the "I wish Mo was back" camp)... but overall I think people are okay with it. It's just funny he's in Minny.
