I think Anthony would just end up suiting up for the West in that scenario. Just my guess. It would be a justifiable decision...he was selected to the team as a Nugget, so he'd still represent the Nuggets in the game, even if he's now on another team.

There's no way Harris will want to backup Miller. The guy was an All-Star not that long ago. I don't see it happening.

I don't think it makes much sense to trade for Harris and try to hold onto Miller. They aren't complementary players and neither is backup quality. Trading for Harris is staking the point guard future for the next 3-5 years on him...Miller makes the most sense to trade for him.

Didn't this situation happen with Iverson, where he made the All Star team and then was traded to a different conference?

I think Denver would be better served by the NJ deal. Favors is better than Gallinari as a prospect and I don't think Chandler is much of a much.

I guess we'll see which way they go... it would be a good move for the Knicks.

I think the Nets deal is much better for Denver...and I'd guess Denver knows that. My guess is that New York is in the conversation because of Anthony's ability to kill deals by not agreeing to an extension. If Anthony is willing to be signed-and-traded to New Jersey, I think Denver would take that deal without hesitation. But it's wise to negotiate with New York as best they can in case Anthony removes New Jersey from the table.

Exactly. Easily, the NJ deal is better. Felton...meh. I like Gallinari a lot, as he plays a lot better defense than his being white and from Europe makes people assume. Chandler is a free agent, and then a first. I like Harris over Felton, which helps NJ's offer, 4 first round picks is obviously better than 1. Especially since that 1 will likely not be a lottery pick. And then Gallinari versus Favors. Gallinari is much a much more proven commodity, but Favors has a better upside. I think it's close enough, though, that NY's offer doesn't come close. Ooops, forgot Chandler. He helps you win more now, I suppose. So it makes you throw out a lineup of Felton, Chandler, Gallinari, Martin, Nene, which is still enough to compete for the 8th seed. But you're basing your rebuilding around Gallinari, and while I like him a lot, I don't think he has the potential to be a front line guy like Favors does. I's much rather take my lumps as a lotto team force feeding Favors alongside Nene, and run with Harris, Aflalo, SF, Favors, Nene. Fall into the lottery, hope NJ doesn't get out of it, and have two lotto picks, and potentially another(GS) next season, as well as your own. For actually REBUILDING, that makes a lot more sense.

But, it doesn't really matter what Denver wants, as mentioned. If he won't sign with NJ, NJ won't make that deal, and he goes to NY. The trick for Denver is trying to find out if he will sign with NJ without NY finding out. Because if they know he won't, it's likely their package goes down.

If they end up with Felton i'll wonder if they still want to do this deal, Harris would be redundant, but so would Miller potentially. Miller would probably just be an expiring so i wonder if they would take Pryz then.
