This is very good news, as it gives the Pac12 a better foothold in the Portland area. I hope it also means the Pickles get a new stadium.
Time to add Portland State to the PAC!
Read something the Pac12 might consider SMU.
Back to the Pac8 as it was in the 60's.
Ducks should go tie dyed....
Would be Pac9 for now haha
The whole state of the Pac 12 is a real bummer. I'm really only a Blazer fan. I don't care about any other sports ball. But I've always enjoyed jumping on the Beavers bandwagon when they're good. I'll never forget the 2001 trouncing of Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl. If Oregon moves to the Big 10 and the Pac 12 dies and the Beavers end up in the mountain west or whatever I'll probably completely ignore college sports.
This Pickles thing can't possibly be real can it?
No, the Pickles thing is a joke.
No, it's a real team, they have a mascot and everything! Way to insult an entire fanbase, Dog!
Here's SPD and Pinko Pirate disagreeing with one another.
Not sure if it's more funny or sad that is an actual question.
You ever consider watching University of San Francisco Women’s Soccer?
Oregon, UW and perhaps Stanfird and Cal will go to the Big 10. The Pac-12 will die.
This seems the most logical. Probably should have merged with the Big 12 years ago...
The Big12 commish is very aggressive and proactive. Many pac fans were doubting this guy a number of months back?
He flew out and proposed a merger when George Kliavkoff was hired as PAC-12 commissioner. Kliavkoff wouldn't consider it.
Oregon State is meeting with the Big-12 today (Friday). They're trying to not get left behind and are being proactive. They seem confident they're going to get an invite within the next couple weeks, which they would act quickly on and take.
Seems too good to be true. If they don't get the invite, they're pretty much screwed.
Lol. Watch Oregon State leave the PAC-12 before Oregon... That would be kind of funny.
Does Oregon need a conference? Would Oregon be better off without a conference?
Separate names with a comma.
