Artest with 2 fouls helps. Creeping back into this one. Diop with some action early. I hate seeing Z with 2 in the first. Diop did have a big game earlier in the year on the Pacers, so I only hope it repeats. LeBron is feeling it so far. C'mon bench.
26 all after 1. Jermaine and LeBron are dominating the game and are causing their defenders (Artest and Z) to pick up fouls.
8:58 left in the 2nd, have tied at 35 Ira Newble hit 2 jumpers, Nailon hit one of his one handers, J-Mac nailed a huge 3. Al Harrington is going off, has 8 on 4-5 shooting.
Both teams are making a high percentage of their shots. One of them is going to have to cool off here soon. Let's just hope it's not the cavs.
This is going shot for shot. Even Newble is in the jumpshot action. It is going to be hard to continue at this pace as they have the more potent strike power. Be a great game to be attending. Hopefully we can get Z and Booz going in the offense, as we cant just keep sinking jumpers. We will get cold from the outside eventually. Z checks back in and 10 seconds later, picks up his 3rd. Thats a Diop kind of play. This will hurt!
And how about O'Neal for 3! Damn him. Finally we hit a technical free throw. Need to hang tough the remainder of quarter. LeBron needs to remain hot. Nailon has the touch tonight.
Cavaliers are Nailon them tonight. LOL sorry Lebron and Nailon are really combing well. If Nailon wasn't already going to be signed for the remainder, tonight seals his fait as a Cavalier for the season. Without Z, we need to up the tempo and are doing so. Once again the bench is contributing!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting KarmaCav:</div><div class="quote_post">Cavaliers are Nailon them tonight. LOL sorry</div> LOL, that's cool bro 58/49 Cavs, James has 20 with 2:50 left
This shooting is out of this world, but very tough to maintain. We may as well ride it, particulary while Z sits in foul trouble. Booz doing a nice job in the middle with Battie.
Cavs up 62/58 @ the half James has 20, 1, and 2 Nailon has 13, 3, and 3, on 6-7 shooting (miss being a full court launch as the half closed) Boozer has 11, 4, and 1 McInnis has 7, 1, and 7 O'Neal has 20 and 8 Harrington has 10 and 2 rebounds Bender has 8 off the bench, but the rest have been real quiet. Cavs are shooting 63.4%, the Pacers 57.1%
Last time we played the Pacers @ the Gund, we had a 4 point lead at the half, but had one of our terrible 3rd quarters and never got it going again. BTW... Pistons crushed the 76ers 85/69 Bucks are killing the Knicks 41/23 with 7:23 left in the 2nd Raptors beat the Hawks, but hey, can't get em all ya know. We can win this game, I believe the key will be stopping the likes of Artest, Miller, Harrigton, Bender, and Tinsley. O'Neal will get his, long as James stays with him point wise I feel ok. Z, it's time to establish yourself.
The cream rises. LeBron and O'Neal dominating. Ron Who? defensive stopper. Harrington and Nailon have both strong off opposing benches. This is a Western conference shootout, rather than a Eastern slugfest.
