<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AzBalla17:</div><div class="quote_post">seems like a bad trade for the pacers</div> This trade is as signed sealed and delivered. Here in Sactown they just spent like three hours taking about the trade on our local sports station. The only thing that is left is there could be a possible player coming out of SA to one other team. As someone mentioned before it may involve Indiana. Basically the Spurs did this because of the potential that Hedo presents. Also Stephen Jackson wants big dollars and SA wants to save there nickels and dimes for Manu.
The Spurs are only in the trade because they can take on Mercer and Turkoglu without having cap troubles, they have enough cap space. They only would have to throw in a future draft pick. As for the Pacers, at least they get a big body in return for Miller, because they could easily lose him to free agency without anything in return.
according to SI, the deal is final: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/basketbal...iller_kings_ap/ Kings get Miller, lose Turkoglu Pacers get Pollard and Ferry, lose Miller and Mercer Spurs get Turkoglu and Mercer, lose Ferry
