Is it just me or are Lita "girls" getting bigger every week?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Looks like the Pack isn't going to have the season y'all were hoping for. I feel bad for Brett, but what the F did he think was going to happen? He's like the woman who stays with the guy who beats her since she knows he doesn't mean it, he really loves her, and she can change him.</div>
Good analysis. It is only pre-season and this is why they play the games...to make adjustments and figure out what's wrong and learn from it. I still hope for 8-8, but I won't hold my breath. The Bengals are doing EVERYTHING right tonight and the Packers look like they never boarded the plane. Bengals fans have to be thrilled right now. Palmer is looking fantastic...

I'm not ready to abandon ALL hope yet. But it's not looking good...

Is Favre going to be one of the 20?

Honestly, they looked horrible. Favre looked horrible. He did exactly what turned into 20 picks last year and panicked, gambled, and threw the ball around as if the defense wouldn't intercept the ball out of respect for him.

I really question how he is going to get through the season if he questioned his heart before the season started. I have seen portions of 2 preseason games, and if I were. Favre, I'd be incredibly discouraged already. The offensive line is really bad. His recievers are doing their jobs, and there is waayyy too many question marks at the running back spot still

At the risk of sounding like every Green Bay fan who backs Favre to the wall, I honestly don't think Favre is looking THAT bad. The fumble sucked, but it happens. As a Vikings fan with all those years of Culpepper, you should know that better than anyone. The pick that he had was totally catchable...Driver just couldn't reel it in.

Charles Woodson is making TJ Houshmazedeh (sp?) look like a hall of famer...three blown coverages and two missed tackles. He also gave up a TD to their 2nd string tight end on what could have been an easy pick.

The O-Line isn't giving Favre much time, either. He was sacked and hurried and knocked down a few times in the first half. Again, very discouraging. People will blame Favre because of the stats and maybe they should... But the man isn't GOD. There's only so much one guy can do if he only has 2 seconds to throw.

And I won't take anything away from the Bengals, either. They were a playoff team who got bounced because of a bad injury last year. People were talking Superbowl from them last year. It looks like they could easily contend, based on tonight.

I guess TJ is CW's daddy. Chad J, in the opening intros, introduced his fellow WR as TJ "Who's your Daddy? I'm still laughing.

At least, its better than the mispronunciation on the fantasy football commercial.

After this thrashing, hopefully lightning ends the game.

Its actually not those plays that I was thinking of - just watching him play I get nervous for GB. He almost looks out of control to me.

And face it, Culpepper had small hands. [IMG]

Lot's of balls hitting the ground in the one series I saw. Brett's hitting them, they're not holding on.</div>
I wouldn't count GB out completely yet since anything can happen but the only good thing that comes out of this game is... It's only pre season. That was it. Al Harris was the other good thing I guess although they didn?t bother to throw is way because Woodson was getting burnt by TJ all night.

Inconsistency might define this team. Out of this division, I've watched every pre season game of the Lions, Bears, Vikings and Packers (NFL Network) and GB turned in the best performance against Atlanta and the worse one today. If I had to say, I think anywhere's from 4 to 7 wins after watching this. Inconsistency is going to be this team. That's what you get when you start that many young guys.

Well can't believe I'm saying it but I think I'd rather see Carroll starting opposite Harris, then Woodson. He might get penalties but at least he keeps up with the receivers...

Hah hah! I was thinking the same thing... All of the TDs that Woodson gave up tonight and the missed tackles would have been five and ten yard penalties with Caroll!

    Oh, the humanity!

Al was mad before that Woodson got a big contract over him. How do you think he feels now. Must burn him to know Charles is making more for standing around

Harris absolutely deserves a new contract, and I think the Packers will give it to him. He's one of the best CB's in the game and soon he'll be getting paid like one.
