The 1st three were easy. The others required some thought. If you look at the Geography, I had an advantage.</div> Ill take them one at a time.... 1.Young and MCMahon....Jim McMahon was never even close to a franchise QB....he was servicable....so BYU doesnt qualify.... 2.Miami, FL is acceptable 3.Namath is the most overhyped QB of all time....the one thing hes known for(Super Bowl 3) is a game in which he didnt even play well....I cant give you Namath....so unless you find another one, no to Bama 4.Stanford is acceptable 5.Did you actually list Brunell? Thats a joke right? No to Washington 6.Archie never was, but Eli is....but thats still just one....so no to Ole Miss Im conceding 2....you will have to do better to get to 5....</div> About getting off topic, Beef threw down a challenge & I love a challenge. Though, he IMO made it quasi-rhetorical but his use of quotataions around franchise. I'll let side-topic die a slow death. However... 3. What QB has meant more to the Jets than Namath? 5. If memory serves, you have some personal animosity towards the team in N Florida. But, what QB has meant more to that franchise to date. 6. Same logic for the Saints & Archie. Further, Eli isn't established yet. Y.A. Title & Frank Gifford supercede the youngest Manning I was going to say Michigan. But, other than Tom Brady, I drew a blank

I didn't know you were smarter or better than me cause you've been here longer...I even used the word topic the wrong way in a sentence twice which gave the sentence no meaning at all! Sheesh...relax man...

Steve Spurrier couldn't develop an NFL QB to save his life. Although, Rex Grossman seems to be an exception, but the others like Danny Weurfeul and Jesse Palmer were simply system QBs. The same could be said for Jeff Tedford now at Cal. Kyle Boller is yet to work out for the Ravens and thought we're yet to see much of him thanks to Mr. Favre, there's a lot of speculation surrounding Aaron Rodgers. He's also responsible for Trent Dilfer, David Carr, Joey Harrington and Akili Smith. The complete lack of success that these guys have had will play into Nate Longshore's draft status some, not a lot, when he decides to come out. Even when QBs do come from a system that doesn't produce QBs, they aren't downgraded a lot because of that system. It's about the individual. It's about the individual's awareness, arm strength, accuracy, coachability, on and on and on....

I still don't think he's ever really been put into a situation where he can excel. Trent Dilfer has a superbowl ring, so it's kind of hard to lump him in as unsuccessful. David Carr is playing on an expansion team with one of the worst offensive lines in football. He's been sacked more times in four years than any other QB in NFL history. I think Rodgers will be successful when he gets his shot. But he might not get that shot for another year.
