<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Capt. Comeback @ May 8 2007, 11:18 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Is there a law where I'm not allowed to curse in a post? Emmitt Smith was overrated. You can't sit here and tell me that the offensive line was the best of it's era, and then tell me that Smith was a proven back. What happened when he got old and went to Arizona? He ran into the dirt, nothing more. Proven, no.Every person is valuable to a team. Practice squad, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, strings and so on all play a difference. Irvin wasn't a deciding factor.</div>Nope you're right, there isn't a law against cursing. You use cursing because you're too ignorant to use regular words to express yourself. But look I'm not here to tell you not to curse. That's your thing so be. You know ABSOLUTELY nothing about football other than what you read on ESPN or watch on the NFL network.Would you agree the 49ers of the late 80's with Joe Montana were great teams or a dynasty? I would have to say they were. So is Joe Montana overrated because he had a great receiver, pretty good TE, and a great offensive line? And what happened to Joe when he went to Kansas City. Granted the first year was good because the whole team was good. But after that, just like Emmitt Smith, AGE caught up with him.So give me a brake with the Emmitt Smith is overrated crap. Every great player, with the exception of Barry Sanders (and I know this is what you're trying to get too), had help. Besides, you're a Detroit fan who believes Sanders was the best. And you're also one of those fans who love saying, "If Barry had Emmitt's line he would...blah, blah, blah!" Stop your crying. It's not Emmitt's or the Cowboys fault that Detroit was too cheap, which I find very ironic when your owner is or was sitting on billions, to buy a line. Or that they didn't have a talented scouting department. It's over and done with. Leave the past in the past. Emmitt's going to the Hall as the all-time leading rusher. I can care less if he had a good line or not. "Irvin wasn't a deciding factor" - that's what you said. If you don't want anyone on this site to know how low a football IQ you have, please don't make that statement again. And you're crazy to think Irving wasn't a deciding factor. And your crazy if you believe Dallas could have gotten to a Superbowl with Irving. Say what you will...I'm just a stupid to sit here and even discuss this with you...ADROPOFVENOM, JON VILMA where are you guys at? I need someone who knows something about football to reply too!

A horrible line and still was the best of his era. Joe Montana wasn't overrated, he was clutch. He was a better version of Brady at the time. Never lost a Super Bowl, has over a 104 QB rating in Super Bowls, threw 1 interception I believe in those 4 games. You can't sit here and shit me that Irvin was a team carrier or a clutch player. Of course because Irvin is in the HoF it is hard to complain now. Not to mention the fact that he was on your dumbass team, so obviously you have reason to be a complete homer (not that you know how to spell his name or anything apparently). But hey, I know nothing about football, so I guess I can't keep up. Maybe you should take a "brake" and figure out what you're talking about before you criticize me. You need help against someone who knows nothing about football? :LMAO: Insecure are ya?

There's nothing to be excited about. Is that why you have anger issues? And yes, you did get me on the spelling. As for Montana, he was clutch and I'm not taking anything away from him. All I'm saying (if you could hear) is that he had a GREAT TEAM! Insecure don't think so? If I was I could never make a living coaching football. So someone thinks I'm far from insecure. But hey what do I know. I'm being taught football from a 16 year old. And not to offend anyone who's 16 because there are obviously knowledgeable football guys on this site. And that's why I love the site. But Captain, I can't say that you're one of them. And don't worry, I'll let you get the last word in...

lol... I love how you think age matters.I've been into football since I was 4 years old, I think I should have some idea what I'm talking about. The fact you think I'm wrong or disagree with me has nothing to do with football knowledge, it's complete opinion. I think you're wrong and vice versa, but that doesn't mean you need to try and put it out by pulling in age and telling me I am clueless.

I was wrong with the age thing, and I also apologize if I made you feel clueless...I'm sure you're not an insecure person...so I do apologize
