Skjei scratched. Enough said. Even I couldn't defend his play in the Islanders game. They said Zucc was out with a lower body injury. Personally, I thought he got scratched because he sucked. Andersson got less than 7 minutes of icetime. That's not acceptable. Quinn needs to stop screwing the kid over.
Skjei has not progressed well. Hopefully the time spent watching will help him when he is back on the ice.
Kreider is playing at a star level right now. No idea what the fuck Zibanejad was doing on draws last night. 2 for 15. Ughhhhh.
Chytil is really starting to come into his own. I didn't quite realize how strong he is. By the time he's 22 he could be a real monster to deal with.
For the first time in a long time the Rangers have a coach who holds everyone accountable instead of the selective punishment of AV and Tort's doghouse philosophy. Skjei got a break when Boyle went down and AV is not the guy who's going to teach defense. Staal needs a few games in the booth too. This team defines rebuild.
The Skjei contract could be a problem but we'll see. He just dosen't seem to be playing with any assertiveness. He's not supposed to be an offensive dynamo but his skating ability should have him jumping into plays more.
You can't play Strome f'n 16 minutes and Andersson 6 1/2. Quinn has done a lot of good but he needs to get his head out of his ass on Lias.
