OMFG! I was just about finished with a long an insightful response to your post when my computer rebooted because of some stupid Windows update that needed to be completed. Damn you all to hell Microsoft! So here I go again... No one is asking you to repent. No, you are not what is wrong with this board. No, I don't want you to grovel. I've said this before but it's worth repeating, I don't have time to read through every post in every thread. I miss things. If a personal insult is missed it does not mean that I am playing favorites with that person or with what they're saying. It just means that it was missed. I have edited posts by Denny, Nate and Julius (S2 Staff) by Further and Crandc (bleeding heart liberals) and by Marazul, DeLincoln, Mags and BlazingGiants (Good, god fearing patriotic Americans). So I'm not really sure which posters or groups of posters you think I'm giving leeway to. If you or anyone truly think that I am please contact me via PM and bring up your concerns. I'm happy to talk with you about them. This also applies to personal attacks, if you see something that has been missed please get a hold of me. But more importantly by you bringing up that you've been called an asshole only go to support what I'm saying? No one likes being insulted on here. Clearly you don't otherwise you wouldn't have brought it up. I'm not asking you to do that. Actually I'm asking you to kick your game up a few notches and not insult people. There are a few on here that is taking the "attack the post and not the poster" as a real challenge, making a joke out of it to see how far they can push it. "This post is a corn dog of bat shit shoved inside of a dead kitten. Sly, can I say that? I'm not attacking the person who said it." Challenging posts is exactly what I'm asking you to do. It's the insulting of the person who wrote the post is what I'm telling you to stop. No, for the most part Maxiep does not insult people he disagrees with. He just does a really good job of attacking people's opinions that he disagrees with. He'll let you know why he thinks what you said is stupid and then tells you why what he thinks is right. And yes, it's ballsy, fantastic and sometimes he owns people. Now, I've taken the time to carefully explain all of this to you but having to once again take this time is the reason why I think you're just not getting it. You're a great guy, sounds like you're a fantastic husband and father, you're very intelligent. There is no reason for you to be personally insulting people on here. It doesn't matter if people have insulted you and gotten away with it, it doesn't matter if people are insulting others and it has been missed. Those are excuses or justifications.
