um as a spurs worshipper i think i can say this with more approval than others..

Magz would be a great Spurs, a 2nd scorer needed vury badly. Imagine if they had Kidd as well, ... bling bling another ring.

They need to replace the admiral. The perfect choice would be Jermaine O'Neal. They do not need Jason Kidd. Parker has showed that he is good enough to play the Point on a high level for the Spurs. 8)

you have a 20 year old point guard, who hasn't yet reached his prime, but has just led them to the best record in the L and a ring, whats the point in using the max on a point guard who's 10 years older and in his prime. kidd's good, but why risk making parker or ginobili expendable by signing kidd when the biggest need is to replace admiral, and they've won it all with parker at the helm anyway. JO would be a much, much smarter investment

duncan led them. theyll sign kidd becasue kidd is better than parker and whne you have the chacen to get a player hwhol make your team better that you get it

they are already the best team with parker, and he's 10 years younger. why jeopardise that to make urself better in the short term when with parker, who is only 20, they can potentially be at the top for much longer. anyway i'd be a lot more scared of a team with parker, duncan and jermaine then a team with kidd and duncan - and that team will be on top for a lot longer

i agree the spurs should go after another big man and try to resign speedy and sjax. elton brand or jermaine oneal make the most sense, and second tier guys like brad miller or kandi man would be decent, too.

Trading TP would be the biggest mistake this spurs franchise will ever make....if TP says he will be gone if they sign kidd..they sign a big man...parker makes a good point.." i just helped beat jason kidd's nets in the NBA finals...and now they want to replace me?"

its that clear cut eh? i dont think so...the east is gonna be really tough next year...lake show will be really good, mavs will be really good again, sac town will be good as well, then there are the sleepers like houston, phoenix and portland...remember...spurs had a hard time putting away the mavs without nowitzki...and he got injured...and what if cwebb was healthy...there are quite a few "if's and but's" i don think the spurs are that clear cut the repeat champs
