Not really seeing the Sczerbiak comparison other than size and skin color.
Sczerbiak had a great mid range game with little vertical ability (as I recall)
Pat seems to have better range with great vertical ability

The reports seem to indicate that Pat has average lateral movement. Nothing wrong with average if you excel at other things. I am guessing he is strong. If he is, he can play some SF with his toughness and 40+ vertical.

I still always liked Elliot Williams, he just couldn't stay healthy..nothing wrong with finding some joy in the roster additions.

Wally was tough, strong and had a great stroke, all the things Connaugh is supposed to have. I see a similarity in them. Both played bigger guys tough

I think Pat's best position will be SF rather than SG actually.

Shorter Luke Babbitt seems about right. Babbitt was a surprisingly good rebounder, too.

He played PF in college; so he should be fine at SF for us.

Really hope this guy can stick with the team. I like his skill set, hustle and energy and I think he can be a rotation guy down the track.

Terry Porter played PF in college too. I don't think he would have been very good as an NBA SF.

I agree but keep in mind he did only measure 6'4" w/o shoes.

I wonder how his game will develop with him focusing on just one sport.

Think how good MJ could've been if he'd given up baseball...
