QUOTE (CelticKing)

Big deal, DolfanDale, winning the series won't win you superbowls. (as far as I know)

Did I say that it would? Besides, the Dolphins have a couple of those too. My point was that a couple of bad years doesn't mean that I'm going to be ashamed of my team. The Dolphins have been winners more than losers and they will be winners again perhaps sooner than others think. Time will tell, but I do know this. Bandwagon isn't a word in the DWO's lexicon. I wonder how many Patsie fans can say that.

All I know is all the new england guys, the ones that live in mass. specifically have been Pats fan way before the team became a dynasty.

QUOTE (ehmunro)

In another six years the Patriots will be leading that series.

The last time the Patriots led the series, it was 1968 and the series was2-1 and they were the BOSTON Patriots, so you might not want to count your chickens just yet. I do find it amusing that the Patriots have won one in a row against the Dolphins and you just assume that they are just going to sweep the Dolphins for the next six years. Who even knows what kind of shape these two teams will be in six years from now? There is that arrogance and disrespect for the competition that makes people hate the Patriots.

(I believe thats the real reason)

Do you see me dogging the Colts or Steelers? Those teams have actually won the Super Bowl the last two years. I have no problems with teams that win. My hatred for the Pats started at the NFL-Forums because the team's fanbase had no respect for the competition. The Pats fans wrote off the Steelers as not being competition when the playoffs started two years ago and, of course, the Steelers won the Super Bowl. The Pats fans also dismissed the loss to the Broncos as the Patriots "giving" the game away. That was the SECOND time that the Broncos beat the Patriots that year, but the Pats fans still proclaimed the Patriots the better team. They wouldn't concede anything until the Broncos beat them for the third time in two years. It was the same story when the Colts beat the Pats last year. The Pats "gave" the game to the Colts. Since coming to SportsTwo, the names have changed but the attitude is still the same. Patriot fans won't consider anyone, except maybe the Colts, as competition. That kind of disrespect coming from an organization that cheat is unacceptable. I will be a huge Colts fan next week and that will be real easy. They have a coach that I can really respect.

I personally respect all the competition, but at the same time I think I'm allowed to think that we're better than most of them (except colts like you said, we don't know yet).
Again this is not the only organization that has tried to cheat (or did). You're wrong to assume that its only the Pats.
