Lol, whatever man. You really think that the Broncos are a better team than the Pats are when they are healthy? We made mistakes and they scored because of them. I guess you can look at that as the Broncos being a better team because they held on to the ball but you can't logically see them as better in any other category. If the Steelers hold on to the ball and don't pull a Bettis then it will be an awesome game for them. Denver doesn't have what it takes to beat the Steelers, unless the Steelers play similar to what we did.

I know you're a super moderator or whatever so I don't mean to offend you, but I have to defend my team in this situation. If both teams had played to the best of their abilities and the Pats still lost, I wouldn't say anything except congratulations to Denver. I still say it, but we as Pats fans do have an arsenal of valid excuses this time.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pats_Fan420)</div><div class='quotemain'>Wow, your eyes are glued the f*** shut if you think the Broncos are a better team than the Pats are. We gave the game away because of our mistakes, period. Sure, Denver was good enough to capitalize on them, but we still gave it away. The only thing the Broncos really earned themselves was that run back INT. Bailey picked Brady off and that was an awesome play by the Broncos. I've said it several times and I'll say it again: you'll see what we're talking about by "giving" it away when the Steelers play the Broncos. The Steelers won't give it away and it will be ugly for the Broncos in thier house. Kinda like the Marines storming a house in Fallujah, the Steelers will show total domination on Bronco turf.</div>
WOW! I thought the bias was high in the Buffalo forum. How can a 10-7 team look at a 14-3 team that has beaten them twice and still say they are the better team? Great teams don't make excuses about giving away the football game. Part of football is not turning the ball over. I just can't believe the lame excuses and now the Pats fans are hailing the Steelers. Isn't this the same Steeler team that wasn't scary at all last week? I'm still waiting for one Patriot fan will man up, own the defeat and give the Broncos credit for beating them without making excuses. I'm not going to hold my breath though. By the way, you can use the f-word all you want in your posts, but it won't make it any truer. The truth is that the Broncos are better than the Patriots this year.

Valid excuses are an oxymoron in the NFL Dictionary. If the Patriots didn't play up to their abilities, then that's too bad. What were they waiting on? The Broncos came out ready to play. That's what good teams do. That's why the Broncos have a better record and beat the Patriots twice.

I've already admitted that the Steelers shocked me on Sunday. Hell they shocked us all. I was wrong. Happy?

The Broncos offense had minimal success on the ground. I've already said their D did well to get in Brady's face. Despite throwing for over 300 yds Denver admittedly threw him off his game. However there's no denying that some of the turnovers were our own doing & not b/c of anything Denver did. In the end the Broncos deserved the W. They were the better team on that night.

I just like to add mistakes are part of the game. Turnovers happen. Good teams take advantage of them like Denver did.

This thread is old now but I just wanted to tell you haters, in case you didn't know, that Denver got the living shit stomped out of them at home by the Steelers. Wasn't it 24 or 28-3 at halftime? 34-17 overall? Ouch, yeah, Denver is sooooooooo good.
