I agree. I liked his up-tempo game and he can really score. Makes some excellent assists as well. He's not much of a defender like Armon can be, but still I would have brought him to camp.

That is a pretty liberal translation that he won't be in camp. I am guessing that is still figuring out his options for this year, it might be a good year for him to play in europe.

I hate to see him go. Miami would be a great situation for him. Wouldn't see too many double teams while getting lots of open looks at 3's.

I still don't understand why he left college early. He would have been a first round pick if he had waited a year.

I imagine that he could get invited to other teams that he would have a better chance of cracking. Mills seems like a good guy, but he is either not good or not good in Nate's system. Most rooks seem to have one really good game in a rookie season, but he never really did. A play here or there, but never seemed to string together anything that I can remember as impressive or pointing to a strong future.

I'm 0-2 in watching Stampede players trying to stick with the Blazers. First McRoberts, now Patty.

Wish Oden would've been sent down to the d-league, if only for one game.

That's a shame. If there is a problem with the entire "no Rudy trade" - this might be it...

Those players they're bringing in for camp is proof that the move was done because they envision Armon as the future backup.

Knowing our luck, he'd have been seriously injured that game. Imagine THAT meltdown.

I'm wondering if he got bum information from an agent. I know this- I watched Oregon play St. Mary's two years in a row and he completely dominated the game each year. I'm surprised he hasn't had a better opportunity in the NBA.

He's been Blazer property since he got into the league. If he isn't signed to a camp deal, it would be interesting to see him in another situation that is fast-paced. The guy has jets and he can shoot a bit. He's just not a Nate PG.

Exactly. This was about Johnson more than Mills.

My money says Patty ends up in SA.
