    I think Pierce is a much better player.
    He creates more shots for himself, but i dont think the trade will be made.

    Pierce=1000x better

    Ray allen, is a shooter...he is shorter and not as athletic as Paul
    Paul averages more, creates his own shots, and goes to the hole rather than just being a shooter...
    Paul has much better penetration and can also get assists
    so...i kinda doubt the trade's gonna go through...then again GP for allen was pretty bad too, so ya never know

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Sorry I don't buy that, when AI made his run to the Finals he wasn't by himself. I would take Dikemebe Mutumbo in 2000 over Antoine Walker of the last few years. Dikembe was a defensive machine.</div>

    KEYWORD= Defensive

    Mutumbo is a defensive player NOT offensive. No one is worrying about Mutumbo when they're on defense. The only time they pay him attention is when someone shots the ball, and they try to box him out so he wont get a offensive board. Thats it. While Walker is an OFFENSIVE threat. So the opposing teams arent dumb enough to leave him open, and they have to worry about two 20 Point guys on the court. And that diminshes the double team on Pierce. When Iverson reached his prime he never really had a second offensive threat like a Walker. And on top of that. Antoine usually hangs out around the paint, which helps Pierce get a better look/shot around the perimeter.

    unlike iverson,t-mac,kobe.... pierce is no problem to teh celtics.... the problem was walker and they dealt with it... but if any big names get trade its 2 of the first 3...
    Iverson and T-mac need new cities to reek havic in...

    LOL.

    'Toine and the paint area aren't a common mix. Part of the reason 'Toine took so much flack in Boston was due to his predisposition of chucking shots from the outside, rather than playing a more traditional PF role.

    You are correct in the statement that 'Toine helped to create opportunities for PP, but it wasn't because of creating space by staying primarily in the paint.
