The Toronto Maple Leafs have traded pending unrestricted free agent winger Daniel Winnik to the Pittsburgh Penguins. In exchange, the Leafs receive forward Zach Sill, Pittsburgh's second-round pick in the 2016 draft and Pittsburgh's fourth-round pick in the 2015 draft. The Leafs retain 50 percent of Winnik's salary-cap hit, according to a source, which is important given how little cap space the Penguins have.
