This team isn't getting any younger and is built to go the distance now. They need to find a consistent QB in free agency. Maybe Drew Brees. Instead of throwing in the towel with a BIG PROJECT such as Marcus Vick. Who'll probably stay for his senior year anyways.</div> So a free agent QB that wasn't good enough to play on any of the other 31 squads will make the difference in winning a championship? I didn't realize just how good the Jets were. Wow. Have you ever seen Marcus Vick play? No more of a project than any other rookie, but with tons of upside.</div> No I don't think I've ever watched a college football game (sarcasm) Vick hasn't proved anything in all of college football YET! Right now there are plenty of better college QB's. Vince Young,Omar Jacobs,Matt Leinart! Possibly Charlie Whitehurst,Brodie Cyrole,Jay Cutler. Just to name a few that are as good as prospects if not better right now than Vick. Now if Vick keeps up whats he's doing then yea he'll probably work his way into the top 4 for sure behind Jacobs,Leinart, and Young. Right now he's a Project. As for free agency I am not sure who's all out there but Drew Brees is pretty good to name a guy. Trading for Rivers might be a better optiont than drafting Vick. So yes Vick is a BIG PROJECT in the NFL. He's very gifted but is really really RAW!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (bakes781)</div><div class='quotemain'>So Bollinger is the starter this week?</div> Ya then Vinny will probably come in when one of the ravens kill him..lol. But ya he is the starter for this week and I assume Vinny will start next week.
marcus vick needs to go back for his senior season. He can be really good, he just needs some more experience, and he cant get it sitting on the bench in NY

Its tough to gameplan against a QB you've never seen play before, and I promise you the Jets will simplify things to make it easy for Bollinger. The thing the Jets need to be mindful of is the Ravens throwing crazy blitzes at Bollinger.
ya gotta think about it, the offense the Ravens have isnt any better than the offense the Jets have right now. Both teams cant run that ball now with great RBs and they both have backup QBs out there. It'll be a close game and defense will determine who wins. Because despite the Jets losing two QBs they didnt lose anyone on defense and thats the best part of their team one of the best in the NFL

Sounds alot like Loseman without as much Raw talent. I understand its more difficult to game plan but the cover guys the Ravens have are way to good for a Rookie QB to move the ball effectively..with that said I agree with what JETS is saying about both offenses being bad and the Jets could pull out a win but it would have to be like a 6-3 win or something..this game is going to be gross all around. But I do think Anthony Wright has a better chance of moving the ball than Bollinger. Eitherway this one definitely isn't on my games of the week list.
the only way the Jets win is if they can pick off Wright lots of times and take some of those to the endzone. I dont think Bollinger will put up any decent numbers because the ravens probly will shut down martin and then Bollinger has to throw and he has that great secondary of Rolle, Mcallister, Reed, Sanders, Demps, and Reed
