Sounds bad. The Blazers have soured him on the entire West Coast, where he grew up. God damn it, Leonard.
I definitely trust journalists who don't capitalize the team names more than company shills who do. Culture is SAD!
Hot take: This is a Lakers fan trying to make the Blazers look bad so that PG won't want to come here.
Correction. Not 41-41 but 41-45. Dame did not look like a superstar in Game 4 but he did look decent. I don't believe this story.
Not a peep about this from any news source. But this from 4 days ago. http://www.basketballinsiders.com/olshey-wont-consider-trade-talk-for-lillard-mccollum/ Olshey Won’t Consider Trade Talk for Lillard, McCollum Portland Trail Blazers President of Basketball Operations Neil Olshey spoke with the media at length on Tuesday at the conclusion of the team’s exit interviews for the 2016-17 season. Are Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum off limits or are they like everyone else and open to being dealt? A (Olshey): The odds of anything ever coming up of commensurate value is so hard to even fathom. I could give you the trite answer that nobody is untradable, but clearly they are.
Doesn't make sense anyway. Short of Knicks (for Porzingis and 2017 pick) and maybe Celtics (for 2017 pick plus Crowder or someone else), no team in the East will or have the assets to trade for him. There are just too many top point guards in the league for it to make sense.
Lillard is the team and he ain't going anywhere. Now the fan base and management need to be worthy of him. Replace the losing coach and build a better team for next year.
