DeAngelo Williams is extreamly underrated. Chris Johnson is an overrrated cry baby that goes to Pro Bowls and gets MVP votes for no reason.

    Chris Johnson stats:
SPLIT ATT YDS AVG LNG TD REC YDS AVG LNG TD FUM LST
    2008 251 1228 4.9 66 9 43 260 6.0 25 1 1 1

    DeAngelo Williams stats:
SPLIT ATT YDS AVG LNG TD REC YDS AVG LNG TD FUM LST
    2008 273 1515 5.5 69 18 22 121 5.5 25 2 0 0

Just about every stat says DeAngelo had a better year. DeAngelo unlike Chris Johnson actually plays well just about every single week and gets TD's every single week. Chris Johnson goes for over 100 yards against a shit team and then has below 50 yards the next three.

Peyton beat the best defense we have seen in at least 5 or 6 years. Won 9 straight. No running game. and didn''t have his Center at the beginning of the year. AP fumbles a lot lately. Turner has Ryan with him. This is Peyton. Voters got this right.

I hate how slanted the MVP award is towards quarterbacks and running backs. Only three players not from that position have won it since it was instituted, which just boggles the mind when you think of all the great teams over the years not built around a dominant QB or RB. If you focus solely on those two positions, there's a pretty mediocre field of MVP candidates this year. It's because some of the season's best performers have been on the defensive side of the ball. Why aren't James Harrison, Albert Haynesworth, Ed Reed, Demarcus Ware, etc. considered viable candidates?

    Because of the DPOY award.

I would have given the award to: Michael Turner or Harrison TBH. Peyton didn't deserve it. The Chargers proved that :]

Uh no they didn't prove anything against Peyton. :[ The better team moved on but that's all. PM was carrying Indy all year.

Chad, Turner, and Rivers sucked in their games too, so whatever.
