Top prospect Connor McDavid was injured Tuesday in a game between the Erie Otters and the Mississauga Steelheads of the Ontario Hockey League, the team announced Tuesday. McDavid, who is expected to be the first overall pick in the 2015 NHL draft, sustained a hand injury during a fight with Steelheads forward Bryson Cianfrone and will be out indefinitely. McDavid will meet with a specialist Wednesday to have the hand thoroughly examined, the team said in a statement.
