I have good feeling that he will... I think Kobe was humbled this year... I think / I HOPE, next season is going to be something to watch...

I am also curious to see who we're going to pickup as well...

Last year has been a benefit for this Laker team already. With Frank Hamblem as our coach for almost half of the season. the players have some knowledge of the complicating triangle offense. Come Training Camp, Laker players will be ahead with the knowledge of the system. IMO, I think the Lakers will do pretty well next season.

The Lakers will have a tough time adapting to Phil's triangle because there is no Shaq or Fisher so this triange will have Kobe, Odom, and whoever their center is in 2006.

I have so much respect for Phil Jackson. He has finally taken a risk in his career by signing with the Lakers and taking on the rebuilding process with them. Phil had his pick of the litter. He could have gone anywhere. Cleavland with Lebron, to the Knicks, Minnesota, etc. But he decided to come home to the fans! THANKS PHIL!

Plus, its gonna make SHAQ eat his words too. [IMG]

I don't know if I'm allowed to say this, but **** YES!!!! When I read this news from England, I went crazy. I am SO happy. Didn't Shaq say that Phil will never return?

I don't know if you guys saw any of the interviews with Shaq after this news came out, but he is still bitter about Kobe... When asked what he thought about Kobe, he said that he didn't know who that was and that he know alot of names but that name can't seem to recollect....

Man!!!! some people just can't move on.....

Now there's talks about Shaq opting out, and that he might be back in LA.... I don't know about that!!!! I'm sure it was hard enough for Kobe to bight the bullet to have Jackson back, buit have Shaq back as well? Especially after him bashing Kobe as much as he can....

    I don't know man!!!!!

No way, I wouldn't want him back. Kobe is the man that stayed with us and he should now be the future to build the team around. We have new guys like Caron and
Lamar(who gets the same amount of rebounds as Shaq and is only about 8 points short of what Shaq scored this season). These guys are the future. In three years, Shaq will be gone with Alonzo and Eddie Jones and that Miami team will be getting very old. The Lakers have a better future with or without Phil.

True-true, I have to agree with you on that.... When it comes down to it, Kobe stayed with the Lakers, Shaq was the one who left.... He's probably pissed that Phil came back; thats probably why he said that he would like to have seen him take the Sacramento job; In YOUR DREAMS Shaq!!!!!!!

Anyways!!!! I can't wait till next year, its going to be interesting... I HOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see the Lakers to be a lot like the MJ/Bulls team.... They don't really need a dominant center, they just need a solid one; and they get that with Mihm. He just needs better support; like a good defensive/offesnsive power forward... But everbody else HAS-TO play D!!!!

Its just too bad that we're still stuck with Grant and Divac; I can't believe how much money those guys are making!!!.

Grant needs to earn some of his money or sign a new contract with less money for the benifit of the team if its possible. Divac needs to retire, he doesn't seem to have a passion anymore and is playing just for the sake of playing. Maybe we could get a year out of him with him being motivated.
