Bayless wouldn't thrive in the D league from what he's done so far, and this is not a "tough hardnosed game" by any stretch of the imagination.

    Our offense is pathetic.

If you're having so much trouble scoring, then push the fucking ball before the defense can get set.

"That's why they only have 6 assists. They don't need to pass the ball." - Rice after Andre Miller waltzes to the rim for layup to end the 1st half.

I try to ignore those guys as they rarely bring any insight to their posts, but every once in awhile I lower myself to their level. I gotta keep working on that.

I know it isn't hardnose on Sergio side I'm talking about Phil. Sergio couldn't guard me and I'm 60 years old.

That's the hallmark of a Nate McMillan team. Have a roster full of guys that would be better running and force them to play half-court offense.

Starts on Defense.. until we can stop them from hitting everything we are going to meet a set defense.

Our problem is not scoring right now.

Well, our main problem isn't that.

It's stopping the sixers from doing just that.

It's really hard to push the tempo when you have to inbound the ball.

1-14 from the 3? Why keep shooting out there? Take it inside! What's wrong with mid range shots?

the sixers are a nightmare matchup for us. not to mention we suck tonight. and guess what? the team in the west that basically will be the sixers soon.... OKC. These teams with athletic swing men KILL US.

The only good news... sixers will have to cool down. Blazers will make a run. i hope its enough.

I agree D is our main problem. Even if we score consistenly we'll never catch them if we can't stop them.

Hopefully we'll start the half on a run and get some stops.

This team lives and often dies by the 3. Rudy is the worst offender right now since he's shown signs of being able to take it to the rim. He's wasted pretty much all his minutes floating at the 3-point line and jacking up bricks.

Philly shooting 65% in the 1st half. That's ridiculous.

Oden's gonna have a big second half. I'm glad Nate didn't bring him back in late in the first half and risk him picking up a 3rd foul. With only 2 fouls, he'll be able to be a lot more aggressive in the 2nd half.

    Go Blazers

Agreed. Where is the Rudy who dunked on Howard in Beijing?
