It's a jealous hate. People hated the Yankees when the Blue Jays were winning WS rings and the Yankees were the worst team in the league. Tech.And like I said, I'm a casual fan. I watch college basketball when it's on. But I don't rearrange my schedule to make sure I catch the game like I do for Football. And the casual fans, like myself, don't hate Duke. I don't even think most serious fans hate Duke. They hate that Duke is so good so often. Jealousy. It's like how everyone hates the Patriots, or a few years ago everyone hated the Cowboys... it's only because they are winning so much, and not actual hate.But Duke players don't get pelted with rocks after winning a Championship, I'm pretty sure.
