CBJ need to win this game and they still might. Fleury gives up goals in bunches. Also some really ticky tack calls on CBJ for Pitt PP's....So typical. Should be a good 3rd period. Go Jackets
I would still favor the Pens even if they lose tonight, but you can make a strong case that the winner of this game wins this series. Pens win and they almost win for sure, like 90% + IMO. And if the BJ's win I think they would have a ton of mo going home to a crazy building against a shaky team in goal and on D.
Yeah I just want to see CBJ get a ton of shots on MAF he looks really shaky even though only scored 2
As we near the end of round 1, some good picks in here by many. Crazy way the Stars/Ducks game ended last night. 2 goals for the Ducks to send it to OT in the last 2:10 of the game. Then a quick OT goal for them and just like that series over...Ducks in 6. Also feel bad for the Wild. They should be up 3-2. They got jobbed big time in game 5. First no penalty called on the Avs player when he clearly grabbed the Wild player looking for an empty net goal. Then clearly offsides on the goal that tied it late and sent the game to OT. Crazy stuff.
BTW...we lost a game 7 last night with the Ducks comeback. Wonder how many we get in round 1. BJ's/Pens Wild/Avs Kings/Sharks Flyers/NYR The 4 home teams (listed first) need to win to extend their series' to 7 games. I will say maybe 3, worst case 2, game 7's. All the game 6's are tonight except our game 6 which is tomorrow night. Two great nights of hockey to end round 1. How many game 7's will we get Wednesday...hopefully none in NY....
