Also,Young michael jordan was the most explosive player i've ever seen [i've been watching videos and highlights of him].

He's 21 years old for gods sake and LeBron James is one of the most explosive players i've ever seen.

Maybe can't finish with a reverse jam at the rim, but is faster, more powerful, and more agressive. And leBron can easily get his defense up to an elite level. He has all the athleticism in the world, and the discipline to learn the mechanics of great help and one on one defense.

What's you reasoning behind him not being able to get his defense to an elite level?

I could believe that Lebron will be more skilled than Jordan. I think he will be the most skilled basketball player ever. He is already averaging 30, 7 and 6. No body has done that for a long time. And Lebron is only 21. At that point, Jordan was still in college. I think Lebron could pull an Oscar Robertson and average a triple double. It is very possible. He is such a skilled rebounder. If he really focused on that part I believe he could average about 11 rpg. Passing comes natural to him, he probably has the 3rd best court vision in the NBA (Behind Nash and Kidd) and he is 21 and a Forward. That is unbelievable. Also he knows and appreciates the game so well which is unusual for a player his age.But I doubt he could ever be called "as great" as Jordan. Jordan just blew up come playoff time. If you havnt seen a Jordan playoff game, you havnt seen real basketball yet. It was just unbelievable. I know he had a great supporting cast, but man, the guy just dominated the playoffs and dominated most other teams to lead his Bulls squas to 6 championships! Maybe he would have gotten another one if he never chose to go try baseball out as well. For Lebron to be truly better than Jordan he'd have to do something like that, and I just dont see it in the cards because there are too many great teams and young squads out there.P.S. thats why no one considers Wilt better than Jordan. Partly because he was a prick on and off the court and also because he only won 1 championship.

LeBron may have the physical gifts and talent to propel him past Jordan, but I'm not sure if he has the mental edge that Jordan posessed.

Jordan's conditioning was amazing. Lebron won't catch that. Lebron is not there and neither is Kobe. I don't know if Lebron will ever have the speed to reach Jordan's level.

Hell, at 16 he was putting in 8 hours a day on his game, with the school day his only deterrant. Look at videos of LeBron and his offseason schedules, and look at what people who lived in his town as a high schooler have said....the guy is very disciplined and determined. Take one look at his body, the 44MPG he was lagging in the 2nd half of the season, and how well he has kept up....conditioning is not a problem for Bron. And who cares if bron isn't as fast as MJ? He is 2 inches taller, MUCH stronger, and VERY quick, not to mention very talented and such a dangerous passer that people back off of him when he drives into paint....in other words, he makes up for slight lack of speed.

Why are people knocking LeBron's speed? My lord he's over 20 pounds heavier than Jordan and he's not that much slower at all. I love how people knock LeBron but nobody really understands how dedicated he is. :no3:
