That's by design. You don't want to hold for the last shot when you're BEHIND (if you're tied, than you do) because if you miss then you have time for an offensive rebound, or you have time to foul the other team and get another possesion.

kingspeed, seriously that was not a good shot by outlaw. he made it yes and i'm glad he did, but that's not a good shot and our offense was anemic. good game by outlaw (despite 4 or 5 boneheaded plays) now he'll probably disapear for the next couple games.

i agree with the rebound part but i don't with the "if you miss" part. you take the shot with 3-4 seconds left to get the rebound.

Yeah, probably should have waited 10 secs to get a better one.

Our long ball saved us this game. We were 6 of 8 from the 3.

We got killed on the boards, though. Detroit had 40 rebounds, while we only had 28. Surpised we could win with this type of defecit in rebounds.

That was a great shot. He can get off any shot he wants with the pressure on and make it. He has done it SEVERAL TIMES. Dean Demopolous didn't call him "one of the league's best clutch players" for nothing.

    We did it because of....

    Travis Outlaw!

Great call by Nate. LMA had gone cold and Travis Outlaw has game winning experience:

Don't forget Travis' earlier clutch shot tonight too where he banked it on his way to the basket.

I think the biggest reason we won tonight was father time finally catching up with AI. Never seen him look that awful before.

I'd give the game ball to Bayless on this one. His fire saved our asses. I hope this leads to more playing time for him.

during that timeout, I had a feeling Nate would call Travis's number. He'd hit a couple of shots and was streaking. LMA was cold, and Travis simply has the last-second shot experience to pull it off... with his hops, who can block him on a fadeaway?

    Great move by Catfish.

Well, you can't just assume you can get a good look at the 3 or 4 second mark. Plus, sometimes you can catch the defense on their heels by starting your move a few seconds early.

The way our half court offense was going tonight, I'm just happy we got a shot off.

Up until tonight I've maintained that Bayless hasn't done anything to earn himself more consistent minutes. Well, now he has.

And Catfish... can't live with him, can't live without him. Crazy.
