Out of control shots make up for not boxing out Prince about ten times and losing his man on the perimeter a half of dozen other times. It's cool.

Tell me about it. Hate to look a gift horse in the mouth but I can't help but hope tonight helps Travis' trade value. GM's and organizations are human and can fall in love with a guy who has a knack for hitting tough shots like that.

I assume Travis' shot will be the top play of the night, not that I watched every play of every other game tonight.

I disagree. Why screw around when you are down. Take a good shot, if you miss and don't get the rebound you foul them and you still have time for a three to tie.

Granger hit a buzzer beating three to beat the suns.

    Checkmate.

I hope that break-away dunk by Aldridge is top ten too. Lot of games though, tough competition.

If the Suns lost, I'll be glad to lose the #1 Play of the Night spot!

I assume Travis' shot was a tougher shot than Granger's though. Travis had two guys on him.

in the after game interview, Nate was talking about the bench's energy and getting the crowd into the game, and only mentioned Bayless' name. A sign of things to come?

He also said when Brandon is out, Outlaw is our go-to-guy at the end of games, no question.

Watching the play over again from the above angle, it wasn't really that tough of a shot. He dribble to about 10 ft away from the basket, jumped straight up and hit a pretty simple jumpshot.

I don't know if it's a sign of things to come, but Bayless deserved special mention tonight. That was exactly the kind of point guard play Nate has been begging for -- aggressive, in control defense. Quite simply, that was the best perimeter defense over a quarter by a single Blazer I've seen in a long time.

Two nice wins without Roy. The champs and then the hottest team in the league. I love it 21-14: .600
