    Per MLB Network Breaking News, Bruce Bochy will retire after the 2019 Season. End of an ERA for the San Francisco Giants. I always respected Bochy, damn good baseball man and proven winner.

    Can't argue with taking two teams to the World Series and winning three titles. The Padres were a good team in 1998 just ran in to the Yankees.

    Saw video of an ESPN interview with Stanton this AM. Stanton mentioned that one major difference twixt the Marlins/Yankees was the opportunity to play in meaningful games after May 7. Well the opportunity was there but the former NLMVP did not produce very well for Gotham after the Yankees/Marlins Series last season. In game 4 ALDS he had a great chance to redeem himself and failed. Ditto Sanchez. The irony of that loss was "Iron Glove" Nunez making that final play at 3rd.
