Use our cap space to trade Travis for Boozer. Then Utah can keep Millsap and stay under the lux tax. We'd have an unstoppable big man rotation of Boozer/LaMarcus/Oden!

Do you think Boozer fits in and would be happy in Portland...coming off the bench?

I don't want to simply throw away Rudy and Przy now for garbage deals because KP fucked up with RLEC. Two wrongs don't make a right, and KP should most definitely not be in a rush and give away talent to compensate for his "mistake."

My plan is for 2010 now. :ghoti:

    :sigh:

Yeah 82games.com guesses on position played and what positions get defended (especially this); it sometimes has no clue really. Shannon was always a 1 or 2 this year, in the triangle he played the 1 mostly. In garbage time he played whatever, doesn't really matter.

Who could we realistically get in 2010? LBJ obviously not and I include Bosh, Amare and DWade in that category.

Nash? Is there some other major talent who is an FA in 2010 that helps us at a position of need?

Joe Johnson, Richard Jefferson, and Nash from the UFA list.

Rondo and Rudy Gay if you consider RFA.

Shit man, if Hedo won't play here because we're not comso, no other big name FA ever will! It's KP's fault! Paul Allen should move the team to Seattle! Then we'd win over FA's!!!!!!

For the Lakers that might be true.

I watched many Charlotte games this year (being funemployed and waiting for the 4:00 games to start meant a LOT of Bobcats games...) and Shannon Brown didn't play the PG for them. He definitely played more SF there, which is truly ridiculous and true. :)

I didn't say that. I was just saying I didn't hold out alot of hope for the 2010 FA market. So many teams have made moves for 2010 and their cities and media markets are much more appealing. I think we make big moves this summer in the form of trades. It's time to consolidate.
