Nique should be one of the 50 greatest players but you can blame that on Hawks management. they treated Nique like Sh!t.he singlhandedly got them to the second and third round of the playoff year after year. He was injured and came back to have the greatest season of his career and then they just all of a sudden dumped him off to the Clippers that sucked. Thats why the Hawks still suck till this day, Bad Managment.

And why Spud Webb? You don't get in the Hall for winning a dunk contest.</div>

I think Spudd Webb was just a great player. Plus his 40 some inch vertical leap.

Well, you don't get in the Hall for a great vertical leap either. [IMG]

I didn't see him play much, to be honest. All I know is that he didn't enjoy much playoff success and he never made an All-star or All-NBA team. I remember that he lead the league in free-throw shooting one year. Perhaps one could draw comparisons between him and Calvin Murphy, a 5'9 one time all-star who is in the Hall.

What about Alvin Robertson, but I think his arrest may of have stripped that honor from him.

Another unknown player that should be in the Hall of Fame is Walter Davis. The guy was one of the best, but no one knew him.

if no one knows about him then how can he be in the hall of fame...the hall of fame is for the most elite basketball players and contributers...so what if this walter guy has stats no one knows who he is so he doesnt get in...right now the players who should get in are Nique, Dantley, King and i think muggsy bogues too...not spud though that would be so dumb...he was a 3rd string pg at best

I think this thread is about players who deserve to be in the Hall based on their credentials. That's how I look at it. And Walter Davis put up some pretty nice stats. Don't know enough about him, beyond that, to say if he should be in the Hall, though.
