Penny Hardaway. The guy was compared to Magic in his first year, Pippen in his second and Michael Jordan going to his third year. In an article, Michael Jordan once said that playing against Penny was like looking in a mirror. The guy was just phenomenal. To bad injuries got to him.

    What'd he do exactly? I can't remember.

I have to add Sean Elliot and Arvydas Sabonis to my list as well. And, although he is still in the league, I miss watching Damon Stoudamire. In fact, I miss that entire Blazers team from 2000-2001, it was loaded, although quite arrogant (to an unhealthy degree). Anyone remember Scottie Pippen claiming Kobe faked his rib injury and then elbowing him in the area that Kobe was injured in the elimination game?

On another note, Steve Smith, Toni Kukoc, and Keon Clark were all some of my favourites.

I miss the early 90's Blazers. They had Clyde, one of my favorite players of all-time.

He rubbed his right cheek in a certain way I believe. Kind of an open to closed palm rub.

The player I miss the most is Kevin Johnson. The dude was a beast, putting up great numbers before during and after Charles Barkley was with the Suns. If it weren't for a long string of leg injuries, this guy was destined for the Hall of Fame.

IMO, Kevin Johnson was better than Steve Nash.

Why is are there people saying that Hornececk rubbed his cheek? I always thought it was he combed his hair each free throw.

He stroked his cheek/side of his face three times. It was his way of saying hello to his three children.

    Some players I miss:

Jerome Williams - Loved the hustle and energy he brought everytime he stepped onto the court.
Charles Oakley - He was a great leader for the Raptors and I think he pushed everyone on the team for that playoff run in 2000/01
