Lakers win 99-93!!!

Kobe with 29/10/5 on 50% shooting....that was one hell of a dunk he had, easily his best in the past two years. And by the way, Raja better watch himself. He fouled Kobe hard to end the game. Now, that's an MVP.

    Odom with 21/5/6!

Sasha with 11, Kwame with 12.

If Kobe plays team ball like this, and everyone steps up...we're hard to beat. We should take both games in L.A. now to push the series 3-1 in our favor, lose in PHX to make it 3-2, then finish it off at home.

BTW, I love how Kobe treats the MVP: http://www.hootpie.com/kobeownsnash.jpg

I'll get the game 3 thread up, tomorrow.

Now that you guys have stole home court for the rest of the series I could realisticly see you guys prevailing in the entire series. The Suns will have problems playing at Staples Center. Anyway good luck.[IMG]

Man...that Dunk....was basically the middle finger to EVERYONE that didn't vote Kobe for MVP.

Not only did it inject his entire team with confidence, it was OVER the "MVP"!

That play and this series so far has shown who the real MVP is.

The Lakers return home 1-1, though just like the Pistons did 2 years ago coming to LA (I hate to bring that up) they feel they should be 2-0. LA has played better both times, and I expect for them to take this series in 5 or 6.

Wowow, what a game. Had me on the end of my seat the whole game.

Hey, no bull.sh!t, but I've always supported Sasha, EVERYTIME he shot the ball today, I had a good feeling about it, I'm telling you guys, this kid can shoot, and I love his presence on the floor. Smush played okay tonight, a couple mistakes, but hey, we got the W, so all is well.

Loved when Kobe got in Nash's face, not one Suns player got back at Kobe, shows how much they got Nash's back. I would have thought atleast Raja Bell would have gotten involved. I mean, all that sh!t he talked about kicking Kobe's ass in the parking lot, atleast stand up for your so called MVP when a player gets in his face.

I decided to put my money where mouth was tonight and dropped 500 lakers Moneyline tonight, and won $2000. No joke, Lakers have won me $10,000 this year, I love my team!!!

HOpefully we take Games 3 and 4 at Staples, worst case scenario, 2-2 going into Game 5.

    Great game tonight guys.

Defense was pinpoint tonight. Rotations and closeouts were crisp and open looks were denied. The Suns rely a great deal on the three point shot and the Lakers were able to closeout on their shooters and bother them. The Lakers offensive execution also slowed the Suns down. Made baskets put the Suns in a halfcourt offense and allowed the Laker defense to set up and not allow quick baskets. Game 3 is in Los Angeles on Friday. The Lakers need to keep up the defensive intensity and stick with the game plan. This year's playoffs is Lamar's coming out party. They need to continue to feed him against Marion and Kwame against Thomas. Shooters need to convert the open shots. Everyone needs to take it to the basket. And to think that the Lakers were close in Game 1 and won Game 2 and Kobe has not scored 30 points. I'm going to end with Kobe Bryant's dunk over Steve Nash which was a beautiful sight for me. The refs may have missed a call there but lets say we call it even. Just like the series.

I had freeking goosebumps when I saw that not to mention i spilled Nachos and Coke on my freaking carpet. Good God! Southwest Airlines needs to give Kobe a call.
