Could we trade him for CJ and filler if the Clippers implode?

Yeah. If we could give up Simons/cj for pg, then resign norm. Possibly see if a MLE center could upgrade nurk defensively (would have loved gafford).

I think it would take CJ and Covington and a first....I’d still do it

I want Kawhi. You add Kawhi and this is a championship team. But I don't know why LAC would want CJ if they deal Kawhi.

clippers are never dealing Kawhi unless it’s a sign and trade and they have no choice

Basically he would have to WANT to come here. I didn't get the impression from Norm's article that he and Kawhi were especially close. Not besties. He was closer with DeRozan.

I don’t think Kawhi is close with anyone. He seems like a really introverted guy who picks his boogers and talks to himself on the sidelines.

Thought Powell was about to turn it around, but he's minus 27 on the series (by far the worst starter) and 3-13 from three. Starting to wonder if Derrick Jones has earned more of a chance.

He nailed the corner three to start the second half and I was thinking we were about to fire up, then he bricked the same shot the next time down (and then RoCo the possession after that did the same).
