Does the website say? They've only been spamming us with playoff stuff like that for the past few months. http://www.nba.com/warriors/warriors_intro.html
lol the front page doesnt look so pg13. Ellis' face...Baron's back, you would think they could do better
OMG, the Lakers suck donkey balls. Up 17 and still manage to lose. I hope the Clippers do make the playoffs, AND THE LAKERS DON'T!
Kobe couldnt hit crap during the last 5 minutes+. Screw the Lakers. Now we lost the 8th spot again. Heres to hoping the Lakers lose out and we win out...

I didn't watch or check the score during their three game losing and they lost. I'm avoiding Clipper and Laker games from here on out.
Words cannot describe how much I hate the Lakers, I hope they get bounced as well, although it would take the Lakers losing two out of their final three games for the Warriors to overtake them. The Clippers winning doesn't really hurt us THAT much because it's the games in the LOSS column that are the problem for us. A half game up (an extra win) or tied is pretty much the same for us, we need to be up a full game anyway. The Clippers win does simplify one thing: the Warriors cannot win a two-way tiebreaker with the Clippers under any circumstances now. I still believe the Clippers will lose at least one more game, there is still hope.
Damn the Lakers. I hope they lose then crash and burn against the Suns and lose another one or two against the Sonics and Kings, then hopefully the Warriors take care of business and kick the Lakers out of the playoffs. The Warriors could have been 1 game ahead of the Clippers and Hornets if the Lakers could have just won. Good thing the Hornets beat the Clippers. But this is very tight, and not looking so good since the Warriors lose the tie-breaker with the Clippers and the Lakers.
Yup, there goes the 8th seed as of right now. I dont see the Lakers losing at home against Seattle. That is what we need for us to knock them out since they own the tie breaker and of course for us to win out...
Problem with the win is that now I see the W's and Clip tied at 41-41 at the end of the season. Both will lose one more game. That's my gut feeling. Not sure where the loss will come though. Go NOK!

Then they play at Pheonix and that SHOULD be a loss. The final game is back to back against NO in LA so the Clips should win that game. That will put them at 41-41. Here is to hoping we win the games we should and we come up big against Dallas again...
This playoff race is so close, and the Warriors... being the Warriors... probably means that one washington road game with the Don Nelson Technical foul might play into us losing the 8th and final spot. If the playoffs were today, the Wizards and the one referee at that Washington Wizards game + Don Nelson totally jacked us, not so much the Lakers, I think. It would definitely be typical of the Warriors franchise to be close(yet again) but still no cigar...

I think we have to win the rest of our games because that will put the most pressure on the Clips. Also, we don't know what the Lakers will do. They haven't been playing great ball, so they may lose some games and we get in even though that's more unlikely than the Clips. I think the Lakers' magic number is 2. Furthermore, we want to stay ahead of NO/OKC. It's still hard to say, but one thing for sure, we need help from some other team in order to make the playoffs. Oh yeah, we should have know better than hope the Lakers would give us a helping hand .

And the Warriors have no one but themselves to blame for that. Yes, the refs screwed us there too with phantom Kobe fould, but we flat out blew that game.
There is one other scenario where we could make it. If we go 3-1, Clips go 3-1 and their loss is to NO, and NO runs the table, then we're in. In the case of a 3 way tie (all teams would be 41-41), then you go by combined record. LA is 2-2 with us, and would be 2-2 with NO. We are 3-1 vs. NO. So, we would have the better combined record.
I think the best chance is going to be for the Suns to do what's right and play hard in a game with playoff implications. I agree that it seems a given now that we must win every remaining game. We already need help, one loss and our chances plummet to almost nothing. There's just too many ways for the Warriors to get tripped up or hosed, they must be perfect and do some prayin'.
