playoffs and trades

    How about something easier than naming 175 better players. What were really talking about is grading our SF position. I'll ask both crowTrobot and Tnice, where would you rank Gay among SFs?

    yeah...and even going that route...I would take Gay WELL before Outlaw...everytime!

    Based on who ESPN categorizes as SF's, I would rank him 16th. When deciding my rankings, I factored in overall talent, potential, and fit on the Blazers.

    The only reason I got involved in this thread is because I disagree that he "sucks" and that he is a below average NBA player. Just because he ranked 138 out of 325 in one statistical category, doesn't prove to me that he is a below average NBA. PER is a nice stat, but it doesn't tell the entire story. He wouldn't be getting the amount of minutes he gets, and the number of shots, if he "sucked".
