Bucks were not ready for this one. Bulls had too much. Our schizoid team rolls on. No idea what to expect in the next round from Derrick. I hope not many games like games 4 and 5.
Schizoid is a perfect term for whatever that was. And Thibodeau apparently has a brand new rotation because of course he does. I get such a kick listening to these announcers who were former players -- this series it was Steve Smith -- blast the hell out of Thibodeau's lineups. I'm finding this season to be strikingly unenjoyable.
Here's a prediction that is almost certainly true: Even if the Bulls win a championship this season, Thibs is going to get fired. There's precedence.
Yeah, I honestly have no idea what to expect against the Cavs. We could win the series or lose in 4......and I honestly wouldn't be shocked at either outcome. Regardless, I didn't get a chance to watch the game tonight. When I logged into ESPN.com to check the score a nagging voice in the back of my head was scared they'd lay another egg and go to game 7. Glad they didn't. Go Bulls!
Mirotic hardly plays. An ample dose of Kirk Hinrich. Bulls win a playoff game by a record amount. Funny how reality doesn't play along with the narrative sometimes. Rose played within himself / didn't suck. Bulls played a pretty selfless brand of intense ball. Ball movement was great. Great Thibs style D. Still don't really know what to expect the upcoming round. Given that this team hasn't played much together and practiced much together throughout the season and the roster is constructed in a sub-optimal fashion its to be expected. Hopefully some chemistry developed over this series. Still no solution to the 2 spots at the 4/5 and 4 players problem, but there isn't really a good solution to that one. Bad roster construction. http://www.vegasinsider.com/nba/odds/futures/ Cavs are 5/8 to escape the East. Bulls are 4 /2. Can these Bulls pull off the upset? Much rests on the shoulders of Derrick Rose to play an excellent brand of basketball consistently, if he can do that anymore. Given that he's the franchise player and pulls in 19 million dollars a year, that's pretty much how it usually works. Cavs won't go far if Lebron sucks. Warriors won't go far if Curry sucks. Game on! Its too bad we could not have the Noah from last year in this series.
