Tell him to watch the replay, it was clean. I thought it was a travel too-- it wasn't.

 

Kanter was absolutely player of the game but still Enes, Meyers and Zach cannot work the pick and roll like Dame and Nurk...saw many broken pick and roll attempts by Dame that turned into turnovers by guys not expecting the pass on the roll....All three bigs did it in that game...fumbled the pass under the rim

 

It's one of those "Is the first step a gather step" things that the NBA sometimes calls. I think most of the time they don't call it but it can definitely be interpreted as a travel based purely on the rules alone.

At the arena I was sure he got away with a travel but I saw a replay when I got home and it was close but I think they got it correct.

 

Dame's passing was off. He threw several at the bigs feet or in a spot where they had to stop their cut and reach behind them. Clean that up and we're fine.

 

Big time travel. Now since they didn't call it, there is no 'travel', Just went and watched the replay to make sure. He takes one dribble passed the hash mark passed the 3-point line but in a mostly stationary position. Then takes at least 3 steps well after the dribble. Maybe Giannis could do that without traveling...not Kanter.

Doesn't matter. They didn't call it....2 points and a HUGE bucket for the Blazers.

 

Agreed. Even Nurk would not have been able to corral those passes.

 

And if CJ could pass to a wide open Curry after attracting three defenders we'd be more than fine.

You guys really think highly of your subjective opinions. It couldn’t possibly be that you thought the game was louder than it was - or that you forgot the numerous lulls in the crowd noise (I.e. in the second and third quarter especially) and remembered the intense moments. Nope. All those fans we could see on TV sitting for most of the entire game in the 100-Section were really loud, you were just fooled by their mouths being closed! Oh and those other games in other stadiums where the crowd was visibly standing and screaming all game and the noise was much louder on the same network... that was all a big conspiracy. (Sarcasm)

Plus, what are you comparing the noise to? You aren’t using objective measures like decibels, you’re just saying “it sounded loud to me” without comparing that loudness to other stadiums at all.

I’m not really sure if it was relatively loud or not, I simply said it didn’t seem like it on TV, and no one has made a compelling argument against this observation. You all just keep saying “sounded loud to me” like this is something that’s supposed to blow my mind and end the discussion.

That being said, I already stated I would “take your word for it” so you can stop complaining about this whenever you want.
