You can't get to the line when the refs won't blow their whistle

Only way that happens is if Dame goes superman. Otherwise a team led by Stotts where he can't figure out how to use other players and when those other players do happen to get a good look they just brick it anyway wont win the series.

yeah, it was another feel-good conclusion to a season. The same thing happened in 2016, and Olshey was feeling so good about things then he had his disastrous 2016 spending spree

Portland gets to the WCF with Nurkic on the sideline, and even though they got swept, again, it gave Olshey an excuse to rest on the status quo by making that quo look a lot better than it really was, and is.

Imagine if we traded CJ for Harden, at least he can get to the line if we can’t make a bucket.

Yeah, I was just thinking that my prediction of Denver in 6 is out the window if we lose this next one. We'll be backdoor swept out of the playoffs for the second season in a row. I just hope that's enough to get both Terry and Neil shown the door.

That being said, I'm still not giving up and would love to see us catch fire and go on a run starting next game. Let the run take us all the way... I would love that and if the price for a chip is having Terry Stotts as the head coach until he dies, then so be it.

    So much this!

Denver was HISTORICALLY bad defensively in the interior this year.

It will be a huge narrative for the L*kers and the league about how they beat the MVP, so that makes their ship legit.

I'm probably foolish for thinking that CJ and Norm should be able to shoot the ball better than 11-33 from 3 considering the looks they're getting. I understand CJ is going to get torched by almost everyone, but I expect more out of those two.

Yeah, when the story came out of New York that they wanted CJ very early in the season, I was all for Rivers and Randle for CJ but there were actually people in here that hated that deal for us. Not joking.

Damn, Denver still missing Barton, Dozier and Murray. They would sweep us if they’re all healthy.

Yeah, their shooting should be much better but this three guard lineup is fucking stupid.
