The Warriors are a team of runs. It's extremely hard to hold them off.

Yeah. Even when we were up by a ton their lineup rotations just came at us in waves.

Ive been a fan, but Stotts just got outcoached by Mike fucking Brown. Let that sink in.

A guy in a different state, watching on tv, with part of his brain missing, told everyone here the defensive adjustment GS was about to make. They did exactly what I said theyd do, yet Stotts and the team seemed surprised.

Not sure about Harkless, sometimes he looks like he's somewhere else.
And I love Vonleh. He's got so much power in his legs he can give us tons of reb and dunks. He just need to be more gangsta, less kid.

Would love to have a douchebag like this in my team. Instead of fuckin girls.

Hark remind me of Batum in the Memphis series a couple years ago. It's like he doesn't know he's in a playoff series, or just wants to go home and spend his bonus money.

THIS, good and accurate post, we are such a more "interesting" and complete team with Nurk as he really helps cover some of those guys negatives and accentuates their positives

As far as I could see, we simply don't have the players to go with Golden State. You can't say a coach was out coached when personnel differences are so great.

We have Dame, CJ and a hobbled Nurk plus role players being asked to do things they can't do. They have Curry, Thompson, Green, Igodala plus role players who can just play their role (and they know that's all they need to do).

Personnel or not, there were zero adjustments. Reality

Well....they did try to get Turner to initate the offense and gave shots to Aminu, but that didn't turn out too well.

It's not the way to counter that defense. Or at least not how I was taught

Could you have coached us to a victory? What basic concept or moderately complex tactic could we have suddenly implemented that magically befuddles the best team in the league?

Yes, I guess one has to question when Stotts decided to play Nurkic; especially after how McGee killed us in the previous game. I guess he decided to start him to make sure we got off to a good start, get the crowd going. Maybe he should have switched it up at least for the second half.

I have no idea if I could have won.

I know when that defense is thrown out you swing the ball wide, then throw it down low. That defense then collapses on the post. The ball gets swung to the angle 3, then swung over to a corner for an open 3 or the angle 3 drives to the 3 attack zone at the corner ft line.

I think it's the opposing teams that allow that; it's their strategy.

Unless you have no post players, or post defenders good enough that the defense can just stay on the perimeter... or both. I guess we go to Turner because he's our best post-up guy outside of Nurkic (who, if you didn't notice, couldn't really do any cool moves). But Green can take him in single coverage easy. So now what's the play? The defense isn't collapsing and Turner has no moves except to get capped by Dray.

Garbage pail Turner is a good post player, Lillard, CJ, Aminu....doesnt matter cause the defense is designed to collapse. Rewatch it. They collapsed every time because thats what the defense is designed to do

I'm not a coach like you, obviously, but judging by their record, their defense is pretty good, so would your plan work?

Best part of this series is this series your really showed us a lot about about what we have for players and coaches.

    1. Dame, McCollum, Jusuf are definitely our foundation.
    2. Turner is ok player that can run the 2nd unit at times. Although coaches decision to run the offense through him in 4th quarter was mind boggling.
    3. Vonleh is a keeper, although I question whether he's a starter, would prefer he be a back up.
    4. Chief is way to inconsistent, can't dribble but thinks he can, 3pt shot is ugly and is ok defender.
    4. Harmless looked scared the whole series, Green was in his head
    5. Meyers no comment wish he was better but he's simply not figuring it out
    6. Coach got out coached by bench coach. Running offense through your 4 or 5th best offensive player absolutely nuts. All your card needed to be on the table in 4th if Nurk was healthy he should have been in last 3 minutes rebounding abosultely killed us in 4th qtr.

Desperate need of good veterans off the bench. A good PF or SF would make huge difference for us.

If only it were that simple. HAHAHA. So easy to be an armchair coach.

Seriously I watched the game. did you guys? What beat us? GSW incredibly elite passing in the second half. The gamer was fast passed, almost hectic on every missed shot but when they got the rebound they didn't hold it. Within seconds it was passed around three to four people and found the open person. The passed were some of the best passing i've seen in year for a stretch ion the fourth quarter. There isn't a team or a coach that can stop that. They just took it to another level. Period.
