Did they really just put game 5 of a 2-2 series on NBA TV? That too, with two top 5 MVP candidates playing?

    This is just embarassing

part of that, maybe a considerable part, is the positive feedback loop each get when they are on the floor together. More than any other Blazer, Dame gets Nurkic involved in the offense; and I think that makes Nurk a little more aggressive. They play better together

the main reason, IMO, Nurkic's numbers are better, is that unlike Dame, he hasn't spent a second on the floor with Kanter. Dame has played most of the minutes Kanter has been on the floor; same for Melo (which points out that minutes vs rotation are always critical context for most stats)

those on/off numbers pretty much match other advanced stats like winshares and BPM (not sure how "advanced" they are)

TJ Leaf has been awesome in his 7 minutes!

bottom line is that before Nurkic broke his leg a little more than 2 years ago, he was pretty clearly the 2nd best player on the team. Sure looks like he is getting back to that level

I wish we would play Little more. Ant is doing Jack shit in these games after the first one. Little would at least provide some defense against their bench squad. I like him sticking to Rivers or Barton for 15 mins more than whatever it is Ant is bringing these days.

Actually missed this. Mike Malone said Barton and Dozier are both OUT for the game tonight.

I ragged on Ant's defense all season but I actually think he's playing the best defense this series out of him, Dame and CJ...

He's not making plays on that end, but he's not being a liability either. His main job is to just space the floor anyways.

LA and the Suns are 2-2 also. If the Suns take that game the Lakers are in a bad way.
Early game is the Nets so I'm good with it.

what did you expect we are playing at 6pm, which is in the middle of the first game. The second game is the lakers and suns with more star power and audience

Couldnt have said it better. Ant is so fucking useless. A waiver wire player in Austin Rivers does more than him. It’s ridiculous how this franchise give this kid so much rope. I swear if he ever becomes damn good he should show extreme loyalty to us

I agree there is a place for Little in this rotation.
    But when this guy-
Agrees with you then maybe it's not a great look.

Go check out Simons numbers. He is playing pretty well. He is also holding his own on defense.

    1) The TV schedule was decided before the series started.
    2) It's not just us. The Dallas/LAC series had a game on NBATV too.

Dude he isn’t doing shit. He had a good game 1 other than he’s been mia. For a main bench guy that had so much playing time he’s useless. You just like he’s not out there turning the ball over a million times and looking completely incompetent.

again how does a waiver wire player look better than him? That’s sad

They didn't have to have our game at 6pm. But as I said, this was all decided before the playoffs began. They had no idea if we'd be 2-2 at this point. Some of the games had to be on NBATV.
