Technically they blew MULTIPLE 10+ point leads throughout the game.

That was literally the best OKC could throw at us all series, and Dame said "Game. Blouses."

Westbrick and PG both had 5 fouls if we had went to OT. Not that the refs would have actually called a foul on them.

Dame had very little to lose on a shot he had already hit in the game. He said something to that effect on his post game comments.

I'd just like to say a big thank you to Westbrook for not passing it to PG on that final possession too!

Any word on Kanter shoulder yet? Man, props to him as well. What a Warrior with a double double.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the game as I had to wake up early and yes, I live on the east coast. That being said......

YEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! FUCK THE THUNDER! WRIST TAP THAT, SCHROEDER, YOU FUCKING SCHMUCK! I DON'T SEE ANY ROCK THE BABY GESTURES, WESTBRICK!

With THAT out of the way, HUGE shout out to Dame. I've criticized his underwhelming playoff performances in the past because I simply expect more from the star player, but I've always said it's not all his fault and obviously, I stand by it. For him to come out and put on a performance like that in a series-clinching game SPEAKS VOLUMES. Without question, this has been Dame's best playoff series. I can't form an opinion on the other guys because, again, I missed the game. Shout out to Kanter for playing through that injury and I REALLY REALLY hope we can retain him otherwise I'd be heartbroken. And HUGE shout out to Nurk for just attending the game and wearing that shirt LMAO!

As for the thunder, can we FINALLY end this overhyped triple-double shit? I've never cared if any of the players got a trip-dub so long as we got the win. That's what it should always be about. Like Herm said, "You play to win the game!" FUCK Paul George as well. Ever since he requested the trade from Indiana, I've slowly lost respect for him. Then, it was that bullshit with him staying in OKC because "if I went to the Lakers and we beat Golden State, LeBron would get the credit, but if we beat Golden State in OKC, then we all get the credit" (of course I'm paraphrasing). Hey dumbass, you're staying with a stat-padder instead of going to the King of Stat Padders. Good for ya! Don't even get me started with the dunk at the end of game 3. Fuck schroeder. Then, we get to WestBRICK. In a must-win game 4, this motherfucker goes almost scoreless in the 2nd half and finishes 5/21 shooting. Are you fucking kidding me? And in THE must-win game for the blunder, he proceeds to go 11/31? Miss me with this weak shit. All the shit talking and no substance.

Then, I see gems like this article which basically talked about Lillard having enough with the trash talking and being determined and all that good shit: https://sports.yahoo.com/inside-the...chup-against-russell-westbrook-152741789.html

I've thoroughly enjoyed every bit of disrespect and shade our players have shown towards JOKE-K-C. As far as Russ's legacy is concerned with triple-doubles and whatnot, in the words of an NBA legend, who has been very high on us since the playoffs started.....

    I hope it's good news.

He kind of got lost or maybe his injury was seen as secondary because Dame decided to go supernova. I honestly think they were so focused on Dame they didn't realize how hurt he was. The man only had 1 freakin arm! Why they didn't attack him on every play we may
    never know.

NO can go ahead and sign him. He is all-in for this team and we need warriors in every position.

Major props to the big fella :chestbump::pumpitup:

I tend to agree especially since our big situation will be kind of dire until Nurk comes back and even then it will take awhile for him to get his legs back. Kanter has his weaknesses mainly on defense, but damn is he a beast on offense and on the boards. Our shooting without Curry is still suitable because of Dame and CJ and if someone like Simons gets a chance who knows (seems like he can shoot to me).

Anyway I just wanted to take a second to shoutout CJ. The night was all about Dame and rightfully so, but damn if he did not have a couple of clutch baskets to help us even get in that position for Dame to make the kill shot. CJ did force a bad 3 and missed it badly, but he did make a couple when he didn't have much of a chance to get a flow for this game because of the early foul trouble. Props to CJ and of course, Moe for making clutch FTs.

People keep saying this but I'm not seeing it. Is Kanter the best Defensive Center in the league? No. But he has held his own on defense very well. More than makes up for it with rebounding. Defensive rebounding is part of defense also. Making a guy shot over him and then cleaning up a miss is not bad defense at all. Staying on the court and out of foul trouble is also a part of good defense.

Im not trying to slam him and I think he has put an incredible effort on the defensive end and has even had stretches of good to great defense against the Thunder in that series. I think it will be a test against Jokic, though, and that matchup could kind of bring him back to the whole "he cant play D" argument. Only time will tell. Regardless Im glad hes on our team.

Well Jokic can't guard him either. So there is that. Nobody can completely guard Jokic though so i guess the game plan will have to be to at least match his output and then beat them at other positions the Blazers have advantages at.
Even more so. Lets see if the Spurs hold serve in game 6? If they push that to game 7 anything can happen right?

Agreed. I would love to face the Spurs round 2, but I think the Nuggets got over the jitters and have figured them out. I still think we can beat either team, but it won't be easy. Either way Im so damn proud to be a Blazer fan and to see such a special talent in Dame.
