Dammit, nothing we can do when it comes to strength and rebounding position. We can't do anything... I Just wish guys had hit their free throws earlier.

Wow -- those refs are full of sh!t. Jackson gets THROWN to the floor on a lay-up, and gets no call. Then he comes down and battles Boozer for a rebound, and gets a ticky-tack? WTF does he have to do to get a call?

Godamnit, we played like crap but still should have won. Got no calls but still made way too many dumb mistakes.

Damn, Jazz barely pulled it out. I'm still confident though because I don't think Utah can win this series playing Golden State's style of basketball. The Jazz play a slow paced, methodical, style of basketball. They were able to match the Warriors fast break, run n gun style tonight but I doubt they can keep that up over the course of a seven game series.

well good game... I think there was a lot of mistakes... but at the same time... the Warriors did make some good plays. The jazz are a good physical and defensive team who can execute well (you have to be to play under Sloan). We have no answer for a stronger rebounder who can play physical. Strength beats quickness, if the Jazz also have quickness and they definitely do with guys like Kirilenko and Deron Williams hustling their butts off.

    Next game hopefully is ours.

We played like crap in the 4Q. You can't do that with the Jazz, they play pretty good in tight games down the stretch like against Houston. We got some bum calls, but it's painful to lose a close game when we had the lead. I don't believe it.

The thing is if we can't secure defensive rebounds, we at least better make our free throws and make better shot selection. We couldn't even do that. A 2 point game could have been made a tie if Jackson or somebody made a few more and we wouldn't take so many dumb ill advised shots without moving the ball first.

I think this is the one series Charles Barkley will make a right prediction about because the Warriors don't have a post game, the Jazz have two guys who can do that. And the guys with post game can get their shot inside any time and get the offensive rebound position. Plus, the more we play, the more tired our legs will become and we'll take these weak short jumpers that fall short...

I agree about the better shot selection. We had Baron against scrub Brown and JRich against Giricek and Al takes a 3.

I still got the Yahoo up. We did all right on the hustle board, but got absolutely killed on the glass. They got 25 pts to 19 on fast breaks and I don't have to tell you a whole bunch of extra shots due to offensive boards. I don't want to look.

    ARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH! 54 - 36 massacre on rebounding. 20 - 14 on offensive glass.

I think a lot of people did. Great matchup tonight with Deron vs Baron. Both had 5 fouls at the end and were still being aggressive. I look forward to watching the rest of this series.

Man, everytime the Warriors had the momentum and the lead, they would come down and make a stupid turnover. I was just waiting for the Warriors to pour it on. But they couldn't get a huge run going. They got a run going when they were down started with Al Harrington. Otherwise it was just back and forth or just a sparring match with each team trying to keep in it until the end. The Warriors just need to come out and play to beat this team by 20 every night. I don't have confidence in this team getting the important defensive rebounds late in games (especially if Biedrins has to go to the bench to avoid the hack-a-Beans scenarios), which is what happened tonight when Boozer got that huge offensive rebound. The Warriors shot more FG's than the Jazz, so the rebounding didn't kill the Warriors. However if they took care of the ball better and rebounded just a little bit better they really could have pulled away in this game and in effect put the ball back in their court.

But I would have liked to have seen more Al Harrington, especially after his first half performance. I don't think he played enough in the 3rd quarter (if he played at all in that quarter - I think he did just a little bit). And Monta Ellis must be in Nelson's doghouse. And does Nelson call up POB anytime soon?

Tonight was a tough loss. The Warriors came out as if they were falling asleep on the court in the first. Then they came back. However they just couldn't pull it together to get away from the Jazz with a big lead. Then finally they just came up short in the end. Also, perhaps the officiating balanced out in the end, but I don't like that type of officiating. I mean, even after the Jackson three pointer, I didn't see much contact other than on the ball, however it seemed like the refs were making anticipation or bail-out calls quite often, but for both teams I thought, so I am not complaining. I think a different type of officiating helps the Warriors however and probably the Jazz as well, who got screwed on some calls.

the reason we lost ....everyone knows this..utah has the edge on rebounding....boozer got that late rebound

jackson should have made that 3...

what about when we were down by 4...should have shot a quick 3.
