I really wish the TNT guys would ream Green for dunking when the game was already in hand and we were just wanting to get off the floor. That was a really classless move and he should be called out for it.

But I think they're doing it in a "this is how you learn" way. It wasn't a "these guys suck that's that" tone.

And Green did it repeatedly all game. That 4th quarter, any contact by us was instant FTs for them .

Dame's scoring runs are predictable: Top of the key ISO.

    The motion stops. Every time.

Watch how Detroit freed up Rip Hamilton: a million screens.

What Dame is doing now is a carbon copy of the Carmelo Anthony system.

A lot of this falls on Neil - Aminu/Harkless are not starters on contending teams.

It's way more Brandon Roy than Carmelo

If aminu could play like he did the first quarter. If only. I would consider him a starter next year. Would be a great bench player though.

Rightly so. We take way too many bad shots. Way too many long jumpers too.

Watch how Wade gets double screens set for either a jumper or a pass for a wide open 3. The Heat were such a well coached team in the earlier game with arguably inferior guards. Spolstra come back to Portland.

I'm pretty sure he's aware of this - as frustrated as we are with this loss, let's remember this was not built to be a contending team.

I will say one thing about soccer. You never hear about officials in Italy or South America involved in racketeering scandals. Ohhh, it happens fron time to time. But you never HEAR about what happens to the referrees.

Not when you consider that Roy wasn't a complete zero on defense - Dame is way more Carmelo.

Dame was great in the 3rd with #LillardTime but only had 8 points in the 1st, 2nd and 4th. Part of that is he has very little help. Part of that is back to the #LillardTime vs non-LillardTime discussion.

I think Dame has stepped up defensively this series. I've seen him put up great D on Livingston, Barnes, Green, and Klay for a stretch tonight even

Dame has had by far the most deflections on D from our team through the first two games.

And Dame isn't RIP so of course he isn't going to run around a million screens. He is Billups.

I feel like our offense stalls into iso-ball late in games because Stotts wants to limit the chance for turnovers by limiting moving parts. He also wants the ball in his best player's hands. That's understandable. However, I think that strategy has thoroughly shown to be the perfect way for us to lose a lead. If Dame doesn't jack a rushed shot, he eventually is forced to pass it to someone who shouldn't have the ball, and then we have no plan, and a terrible offensive player handling the ball with no help against a set defense. Just run our regular damn weave or run some off ball screens to keep the defense honest. I can't take this shit anymore. Every possession has to have a purpose. We can't leave guys like Aminu out there with no clear instructions beyond watching Dame and seeing what happens. Same with Plumlee. Stotts has empowered these guys to make plays, and that's fine right up until they're out there with no structure around them and no way to keep the defense honest. /rant
