Were there a lot of Blazers fans in the games you attended?

The only legal arm contact on a box out is an arm-bar which is a straight forearm parallel with the chest. That is how I was taught.

The thing I like is we’re winning with defense. We’re playing great team defense. We need to do a better job on the boards though.

Going to the twitter page where Enes posted that the comments are splitt pretty evenly. On the one side people are calling it for what it was. Targeting, flagrant and uncalled for. The rest are calls to "man up" or "what a flop" or even better "basketball is a physical game...." I want to yell back at them, NO IT ISN'T!! This isn't the 80's or early 90's, the rules have changed and the game has changed. If that was Lebron who got hit like that Jokic would be facing a suspension right now.

Putting that aside I love what Enes is doing for us in these playoffs. He has earned my respect for sure but to the casual observer Enes has somewhat of a checkered past. He has been accused of targeting players or purposely trying to injure them when he played for other teams. This has a boy who cried wolf feel to it.

I agree. I have been watching the NBA for.... gosh..... 30 years? I have never seen anyone box out like that.... ever.

Loading up and throwing your entire body into a guy's shoulder is not boxing out. That's called an offensive foul. Period.

Agreed, it often seemed like we thought there would be extra points given for degree-of-difficulty.

Seriously man what is your point here?
Are you really going to try and throw shade on the player that won them that game last night? Really?
I've been having this conversation with stat monkeys for years. The fact is Stats don't measure heart or desire to win and ability to perform when the pressure is on. CJ absolutely without question was the reason the Blazers win game three. If you can't see that then i don't know what to tell you? He even made the assist that got Hood the open shot to win the game.
What more does this guy have to do to get stat monkeys around this forum to back up?

Years ago it was Mathews. Statistically speaking we was not a good SG. Total three and D player. If even that because at times he didn't shoot the three well. But everyone seemed to agree when he went down that he was the "Heart and Soul" of the team.
Would you like me to go to Steve Blake?
    How about Rod Strickland?
    Joel Pryzbilla?
How About Brian Grant? How many times did we see Brian Grant will this team to a victory in the playoffs? His advanced stats are mediocre at best. Try to tell Blazer fans his stats weren't good.

You want to come at me with stats???? I say bring it! I will defeat the stat story every time.

Rod Strickland was a horrible teammate and an asshole. He has no business being on that list.

Are you saying that CJ is the heart and soul of this team?

First question-Rod Strickland might have done some bad things but he was not a "Horrible Teammate"
If you don't like him on that list i can live with that. Point stands. He impacted a game much more than his stats would presume.

Second question....No. I referenced Wesley Mathews as being considered the heart and soul of the team.

Don't you dare try to tell people that Terry's offense really isn't very good!

I do agree that our defensive schemes in the POs (especially the OKC series) have been much better than usual. Good job on that end, Terry.

I was just reading over on one of the Nuggets forum. I think the funniest thing I read was them complaining about Doris Burke being so one sided in favor of the Blazers. I don't troll other sites so I didn't respond, but I thought what a homer. Also they are convinced that it was a badly one sided officiated game and that Kanter is faking the shoulder injury.
