Great win indeed. Living in the Bay Area, it's annoying how many bandwagoners GSW has these days - it's inevitable I guess but annoying nonetheless. Had to attend a wedding last night so had to DVR it and stay up until 2am watching the game. Went to sleep very happy.

This Worriers team without "Stephon" (as my wife calls him) is very beatable. Dray-face and Klay-face for theirs but outside of those two guys, they got almost nothing from anyone else. 7pts for effing Barnes and 1pt for Iggy, both with over 30 mins on the floor? That's embarrassing. I think we take game 4 but still lose the series due mostly to youth and inexperience but SAS should beat this team unless Stephon comes back to full strength.

Def enjoying the ride while it lasts though...

The funniest part was seeing the telltale yellow evidence hanging out from under their jackets as they shuffled out of the Moda . . .

So we beat the champs in the second round of the playoffs, the year after losing 4 starters...
That's crazy, just imagine what we could do if we had an All-Star !!

I really want him to leave so I can see the snowball begin.

    Step 1: Durant leaves
Step 2: One year later Westbrook leaves.
Step 3: Team falls into the bottom of the NBA and struggles to win.
Step 4: Attendance falls because people in OKC have only ever known a winner. They stop supporting the team.
Step 5: Owners are forced to sell, the team is purchased by a consortium from Seattle, and they move them back where they belong.

Crabbe, like Batum, is an inconsistent tease. A less talented version of Batum.

Aminu, like T-Rob, is primarily a hustle player. He will have the occasional big game, but by no stretch of the imagination is he a consistent scoring threat.

The point is, talking about getting better through internal improvement is silly.

Eh, Crabbe and Batum are two totally different players. Not really at all alike. And if you're simply saying that Crabbe is a tease (like Batum,) I'd counter and say that Crabbe has only started a handful of games. Batum was pretty much a starter from day one. I would be interested in seeing how Crabbe would do as a starter. Hopefully not on another team.

I thought it was obvious (it seemed that way inside my skull), but yes, I was talking about the inconsistency.

Batum had the excuse that he was starting and facing the league's elite. Crabbe is inconsistent against scrubs. No offense, but watching him start would be "interesting" in the same sense as watching a squirrel trying to cross an 8 lane freeway.

Keep in mind, this is coming from somebody who was impressed with Crabbe in college and who thought he was a great sleeper pick. At this point, I would rather have Barton. I think we can agree that Stotts is good about giving young players a fair chance. Crabbe just hasn't taken advantage.

If Durant leaves this summer, and if I am OKC I immediately call the Lakers and trade Westbrook to the Lakers for D'Angelo and the Laker's 1st round pick this June. (Ingram if they are lucky) Westbrook IMO ends up with the Lakers either way so this way you get a poor mans version of both Westbrook and Durant. Better than nothing.

I think he did pretty well as a starter this season. He started 8 games this year. Averaged 32 minutes as a starter.

15.9 ppg, 43.6% from the field, 39% from three, 3.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists.

Compare that to Wes last season for us:

15.9 ppg, 44.8% from the field, 38.9% from three, 3.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists in 33.7 minutes per game. Wes is currently on a max contract :dunno:

Also, the answer to this question has one giant caveat: Was his headband on his face properly, or did he get mad and throw it or let it hang around his neck? Cause when he fucked with the headband, he was always a go to scorer afterwards.

Great data. I think Wes played better defense as well, but I have actually been pleasantly surprised by Crabbe's defense this season. He has length, active hands, and determination. He will get better at eliminating dumb fouls as he matures. This is his first year getting non garbage time minutes.

Bullshit. Aminu is averaging 14 ppg 8 rpg in playoffs shooting 43% FG and 37% from 3. He also personally won 2 games for us. He plays better in regular season than playoffs. Robinson was never like that. Crabbe is a bench player so you can't compare him to Batum but Crabbr is averaging 8 ppg on 47% shooting. Not bad.

Aminu had a couple of bad shooting games to start the clippers series, but he has picked it up. With his defense, ability to switch on guards, forwards, and centers, and the ability to shoot well enough to spread the floor I don't understand all of the hate that he gets. My only issue with him are his eyes to the ground drives into 3 defenders. But, this is also his first year of getting starters minutes. These are things he can work on with the coaching staff. I am happy to have him on the team.

Someone is going to throw some decent money at the dude. Hopefully it's not too unreasonable.

He's being left completely wide open, and still shooting percentages that aren't great.

So Steph Curry is their savior, huh? I get it. They got a nice home crowd, but boy can this bandwagon travel well. I gotta give it to them.

I actually know several people from Oregon that are casual basketball fans that now root for both the blazers and the warriors. Stupid. A friend I went to school with in southern Oregon posted on Facebook during the game, "I just wish they both could win". Ughhh

I don't think they travel. I think they just bought gear a few months ago and go to games to see the spectacle that is Curry and say "been a fan since Run TMC"
