It looked to me like he did play the ball, not the man. The contact was unfortunate.

Yeah personally I don't think it was a flagrant foul.
But I also don't think a lot of the flagrant 1's are actually flagrant fouls... Unfortunately the refs have to go by the letter of the law. However silly it is.
Thanks for the reply. I was just curious what a ref's thoughts on the play would be.

Read a couple articles about Draymond Green's post game words....saying we had doubt, that the Warriors are going to win game 4. glad Dame shut him up...I used to like that guy, but winning the championship has gotten to his head...guys an egotistical douche

    Have to make a confession.

I still have not actually seen Game 3!

Back last fall my g/f and I bought tickets to see San Francisco Ballet May 7. Hardly was anyone thinking playoffs! Made reservations for lunch before/dinner after. Then the Blazers get into the second round and I realized there would be Game 3 May 7. No problem, right! They would start the game 7:30 and I'd just miss the first quarter. Only the NBA in its infinite wisdom started it at 5:30.

One of my pet peeves is going out with someone and having them bury their nose in their phone.
OK, I did sneak a peek between courses. And I was taping the game.

On BART just as 3rd quarter ending. Followed Game Tracker on ESPN, got to my car around 4 minute mark, and turned on radio, of necessity Warriors broadcast, heard rest of game. Watched postgame on TV. Figured I'd watch the game Sunday after doing all the necessary but uninteresting stuff (clean house, trim roses, laundry, then relax...) but the cat situation blew that idea.

I WILL watch that game, maybe tomorrow?
