I wonder if CJ or Meyers would have excelled against Memphis if Mo was on the team. Maybe Meyers........I have doubts that CJ would have ever touched the ball.

Mo had his strengths. He won us some ball games with his instant offense. But the bench still sucked when he was in there. It is possible that he shot all the time because the rest of the 2nd unit couldn't, but I would still rather have a PG in there that at least attempted to set up other players.

Having said that I think someone like Frazier would be a better option next year over Blake. We need his quickness. Blake would be a great 3rd PG

I'm disappointed CJ isn't playing Summer League precisely because I think he needs to work on being our backup PG. He would be very Mo-like. (Or Reggie Jackson-like.)

Maybe he knows this, and isn't interested in being anything but a starting SG.

I've got to say it's pretty fucking crazy that Mo was named both Western and Eastern Conference player of the week this season. That, I would not have predicted.

Yep, i'd rather go with a rookie like Wright or Lucas, or even Frazier as back up next year.

He's exactly the type of grizzled old ex-point guard that becomes a decent head coach in ten years... he might just transition to assistant someday soon.

Well he certainly wouldn't have done that playing for Portland.

He doesn't seem like an NBA caliber player anymore. I like Steve. He is a solid guy. He doesn't make a lot of mistakes, but he has to be able to contribute on offense. I don't expect much, maybe just a couple of buckets per game, but it didn't seem like he could even do that.
